KO's QB rating at seasons end will be...?

Post#1 » by emperorjones » Sat Oct 18, 2008 12:22 pm

Right now he's at 87.6. Anyone think he can end the season at a 90 or higher rating or will he dip back down into the 70s or stay where he is?

Nice sig. I don't see any reason why he'd regress while he gains experience. I would think his confidence would only go up. Combine that with Hester gaining confidence and the pending return of Lloyd and I'll say he hovers around his current rating. Not that I'd want to make a wager on it or anything....

I'll say that he ends up above 90. Like Chewie said, as the season goes on he should do better. More experience, Heter improving, Lloyd coming back, Chris Williams getting into the o-line rotation.

Another thing to consider is who we've played so far and who we have left to play. Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, and Carolina all have good defenses. Indiana's defense and Atlanta's defense is bad, while Detroit's is god-awful.

But for the rest of the season, the only 2 defenses that are really good against the pass are the Titans and the Jaguars. The Packers defense could be good if everyone's healthy, But Orton should have 2 good games against the Vikings, and good games against the Lions, Rams, Texans, and Saints.

Good points. I think it would be Hilarious if he ended in the mid 90s. Which would put him in the top 10 NFL QBs most likely and match what Brett Favrehe heh did last year at 95.7

What would the writers complain about then? Probably how dumb JA is not to sign this kid up to a long term deal 3 years ago.

I think Orton's still lacking weapons at WR to be that high. If he is though, wow. Good job. Let's draft a few offensive linemen and a good WR and we should be decent.

Around where he is now, give or take, say 3-4 points. So 83.7 to 91.7.

I believe it's above 90 now.
