Week 7: Vikings @ Bears

Post#1 » by hermes » Fri Oct 17, 2008 4:00 pm

Win and stay in first place (no matter how much we don't really belong there)

Keys
- don't turn the ball over
- cut back on penalties
- quit making mistakes that kill drives
- capitalize in the redzone
- get the running game going
- burn'em with Berrian
- KEEP GUS UPRIGHT
- pressure Orton
- shut down Forte

i mean i don't ask for much, just play good clean football
none of whatever last week was :-?

GO VIKINGS

offense playing pretty good
defense playing pretty good

special teams........killing us

i mean vikes can't have them start at their 40 every time, just kick it deep and tackle Hester

Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes. Vikes were the more talented team today, but Bears were better coached and more disciplined.

^^exactly. I am willing to give Gus mercy on 2 of the 4 INT's. The system is predictable and he is 62.

Our coaching staff needs to understand that "special" teams does not mean short bus "special"

5 to's---Players need to make plays, but the coach needs to discipline them.

40% chance of a coaching change at some level.

Did Hester get hurt during the game or did we spend the first half kicking away from a guy who couldn't run?

I know he was in the game until the 3rd. I'm just wondering if they were putting him back there as decoy, and he wasn't 100%.

The second kick off was fine, the coverage was just awful.
