Post#1 » by revprodeji » Mon Oct 20, 2008 3:16 pm

Are crap..Utter crap.

1.) Never trust Uncle Charlie.

2.) Word is he finally heard about the Quinn rumor from last year, and updated it to sound current.

There is no truth to it.

The original rumor from this summer was a 1st and a 3rd. They wanted this years first, we wanted it to be next years. (I guess they had other plans with the first. namely Allen) I do not know who stopped the deal, but for some reason it did not go through.

I fully expect us to either trade for a vet 28yr range and draft a Qb, or trade for Quinn. I think we are willing to give up the Farm for him.

I expect something to happen. That is so obvious Sid could get it. I am not sure it will be Quinn. I know we like Quinn. I know the QB we seem to like the most is Bradford and he might not come out.

Something will happen at the QB spot. Just know idea what.

Ironically...open mouth, insert foot..Here is a quote from iceness.

The Browns very seriously shopped K2 last week. They were asking for a 1st and 3rd in return and got some nibbles, but his injury issues and the fact he's going to demand a new deal scared potential buyers off. This person heard the Giants, Raiders, and Vikings all made serious inquiries. Tangentally, the Vikings did indeed offer 2 1st rounders for Brady Quinn. The Browns countered with Derek Anderson for next year's 1st and Tarvaris Jackson, with the intent of playing Quinn with Jackson as the #2. The Vikings passed, not wanting Anderson and also not ready to give up on TJax. That right there should tell you how serious the Browns are about Quinn and that DA will not be back. Or Winslow, for that matter.
