OT: Celtics Cut Darius Miles

I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him, you can never have too much depth, especially with our injury problems. We got our old guys: Nash/Bell/Hill/Shaq, and then you have Barbosa and Diaw who manage to have weird little injuries from time to time. I can see him playing the 4 like Boris, since he's 6.9 or so.

Nash/Dragic/Singletary
Bell/Barbosa/Hite
Barnes/Hill/Tucker
Amare/Diaw/Miles
Shaq/Lopez/Amundson

Yay or nay?

Im on the fence....though would have him over Hite because of upside/size reasons

^^I'm also hoping that our magic voodoo trainers can help his knee out a la Amare.

I wouldn't mind him on our team as long as he understands that he will really only get playing time if we have injuries. And since we are not really running and gunning anymore, it will be a little easier on his knee.

He'll rot on the bench all season long. Depth wise I think we're about right.

I wouldn't mind him nor his contract either. He's young and will only cost us a non-guaranteed deal. Hell, why not, he'll booster our bench a little more.

I think the Knicks could really use him since there is such a lack of talent on their roster. Maybe Mike can use him at PF where he would have an advantage in quickness against most pf's.

I thought Hite should have stuck. Tucker...meh, I just don't see him being anything other than a D-League star
