LeBron vs. Chris Paul for #1
Sorry if this a dumb question. I have the first pick in our draft tonight (late, I know) and I'm deciding between these two. I think Paul is the obvious choice but it's a h2h league and I'm wondering whether LeBron would be the better centerpiece. Still considering who would hold up over the season, whether a PG is more in demand, etc. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I prefer Lebron, but it's very close. Lebron's more complete & fills up the categories a bit more, but Paul gives you PG-eligibility & plenty of assists, which I've found is hard to come by. You really can't go wrong with either one though.

Depends on categories... either way you can't go wrong, personal preference for me would be Lebron... if you think you can get a couple of good scoring options (Anthony, JJ or Kmart) in the 2nd and 3rd round I say take Paul and get a guy like JJ and a big in your 2nd & 3rd picks
You have to keep in mind that your first pick shapes the rest of your team really b/c you need to get guys that complement/make up for their strengths/weaknesses

I had first pick in my draft and, call me crazy, took Kobe. I had him last year (2nd overall) and he was a monster. I also had Lebron on another team last year (1st overall) and was more impressed with Kobe.
Im pretty freakin awesome........

I think there's more debate for number 2.
Like tk said, it's Paul in h2h and especially in roto

I had the #1 pick and didn't hesitate. I took Paul. He hurts you nowhere and helps everywhere tremendously besides blocks and boards. He is also the #1 player in the NBA in 2 of the toughest categories to win - Steals and Assists. LeBron kills your FT% and you'll be trying to make up that category the rest of the draft, probably passing up superior available players because of their FT%. No Brainer.

Or you can just tank FT% all together

...and destroy your chance of winning your league.

Why would you want to tank a category with your 1st pick? You have the choice of EVERY player in the league.
#1 - Undoubtedly CP3
I wouldn't even chose LeBron 2nd. I don't want to be negative in a stat with my first pick, especially when I can choose Amare or Kobe who are fantastic.
