Fire Fisher or trade Vince!!!!!!!

Post#1 » by nycefnl » Wed Sep 24, 2008 1:32 pm

Vince young is not the problem. Jeff Fisher is the problem. He never wanted the organization to draft Vince and it shows in the way he and his staff prepare for games.

Why do you pay a top pick 58 million dollars to hand the ball off on 1st and 2nd down?

When was the last time the Titans drafted a reciever or tight-end higher than the 3rd round?

When the Colts drafted Peyton Manning 1st round 1998, they than drafted a receiver 2nd & third rounds. 2001 they picked up Reggie Wayne with their 1st pick when they were already good on offense. 2003 they picked up Dallas Clark with their 1st pick. 2007 they drafted Gonzalez with their 1st pick.

If you believe in your quarterback draft and sign players that will help him get to the level he needs to reach.

If you don't believe in Vince Young, don't set him up to fail. Just trade him away so he can do his thing some place that believes in a proven winner.

No way. I'll keep Fisher and gladly get rid of Vince.

Fisher's blueprint and gameplanning works, and it's showing this season. By building from the line out the Titans can win plenty of games and compete as one of the best teams in the league.

Fisher is fantastic.

In this day and age when coaches move around like no tomorrow, stability is really important on a team and Fisher provides that. The best move the Titans' management made was not firing Fisher when they had a couple bad seasons. Their record was because of salary cap troubles and had nothing to do with Fisher as a coach.

This guy, the OP, is an idiot.

Fisher is the greatest thing to ever happen to this franchise.

I hope you remember in '06, Vince's rookie year, when we were 2-7 and he brought it together and we finished 8-8? That's Vince Young without any experience. This whole fiasco could be the greatest blessing in disguise. Letting Vincent sit on the sideline and watch a mature, proven quarterback play will give him the opportunity to mature himself. Not having Norm Chow helps too.

Sure, I thought "what the ****?" when I heard Chris Johnson's name called in the draft, but look what he's done. We have two capable receivers and two great tight ends in Scaife and Crumpler. But we have had good draft picks- Pacman was a stud in '06, he's just a punk that can't avoid trouble. Vince too- he just needs some time. No quaterback just enters the league and just starts mowing over teams.

Oh yeah, we're 6-0. I think Fisher's doing well.
I don't want to work, I want to bang on the drum all day.

And hopefully Fisher and the Titans will continue to do well this season. And CJ has played well for himself this season. The Titans did right selecting him in the draft back in April.
