Cavs/Knicks trade

Post#1 » by LBusiness » Thu Oct 23, 2008 9:00 pm

Listen fagets I only post on realgm to access other teams, this board is **** compared to RCF, where the real basketball minds post at.

The Cavs need a big man period...........

NY has two, and you guys on here bitchin about a trade idea like what im saying makes no sense.

Z is funking old bro, so is Has-Ben Wallace,to put them on the bench is not to down them but to perserve them for the playoff push and strengthen our bench,at least Ben.

Neither one of them will make it through this season without there backs acting up period.......

Why is this good for Cleveland. The Cavs are actually giving up a ton of cap space for terrible players.

You want to bring out the beast in Curry ? Place a hoagie on the top of the backboard...

First and foremost Curry cannot play the 4. He barely has the quickness to play the 5. That being said, he is a very good scorer around the basket. You do however have to pair him with a defensive and rebounding moster because he's not going to do either of those. I think you overrate Curry since the reason that he's in NY and not Chicago is because he can't stay motivated and frankly that's the reason that the Knicks would move him now. Coming in out of shape is not a good way to show that you are motivated.

We need a Big Bad, Curry can play the 4 and 5, plus we will forfeit cap space by trading any of our expirings.

Curry is only 25,he is unstoppable when motivated,he is not as big a risk as Z-bo,and his contract is not as bad as Z-bo's,plus unlike alot of guys in this league he is actually real good friends with LBJ.

I veiw this move as another steal just like the deal with Mo, wich took expirings and sacrificing cap space.

I tell you the truth if Mike Miller or is not available the Cavs will find it hard to pass on Curry or Randolph.

Mike Redd is still the unknown, just because of what happened in Mil with him and Mo.

No way that Illgauskas loses his starting job to Curry, Curry can't get a starting job on a team missing a center.

I would love the trade of Snow and Pavlovic for Curry if we had a guarantee that he would freakin focus on being a basketball player and try to lose weight and improve, but that's not gonna happen so keep him away from the 216

I think with the economy and the luxury coupled with the potential to bring in a big contract via Wally World, we aren't going to use Snow's deal to do anything but expire. Certainly I couldn't see us adding a potential cancer like Curry without getting a solid asset like Lee as well.

The Cavs wouldn't even think about taking Curry or Randolph unless the Knicks also send their 09 unprotected 1st.
