we had to waive 3 to get under the 15 player limit...unless you are talking about guaranteed/non-guaranteed money...in which case minimal money was saved, but it's not like any of those 3 would have been impact players anyway

Yeah, I was talking bout the money. It made the most sense moneywise to waive them.

Now let's get Booth out of here for that draft pick and get ready for a weak draft

I don't know what's going on here but I have posted messages and they don't show up here. This has been happening for about three weeks.

Anyway, I said that I heard that we are trying to move Booth for a second rounder and re-sign Richard.

just don't make Gomes/Jefferson the full-time starting frontcourt regardless of matchups, please don't...I can't watch Nazr Mohammed comically dominate a smaller frontcourt again, I can't

So what... because we lost

Harrison (fat, crap attitude and likely outrebounded by Telfair)

and

Richards (Slow, nothing special, we look better with Gomes anyway)

We are gonna be crap? too klate, we suck anyway, adding big stiffs to the end of the bench is not gonna change that

Madsen should be embarrassed by again taking a valuable roster spot on this team. It was fun for a while keeping a talentless towel-waver while they had a winning/competitive team. But it’s so inappropriate keeping this clod while releasing a more productive, Chris Richards.

The Wolves can never be taken serious until they release him.

I'm kinda confused as to why we cut both of those guys...isn't Richard at least D league material? I just think we've gone from kinda thin to non existant at the center spot if you don't play AJ there. Madsen puts a body there, but that's it. Collins isn't good...but more importantly, is still hurt....I just figured we'd keep one of them around somehow. Does this mean Booth will be hanging around with us?

I saw this on the KFAN board. I can't verify its validity, but I thought I'd bring it over:

Bigworm wrote:Harrison isn't coming back. Last night me and some business associates ended up at a little establishment across from the Target Center that is named after a type of Cadillac. I saw Harrison and guess at who he was. At bar close I walked out with him, veified that he was actually who I thought he was, and then proceeded to ask him what was up with him and the Wolves. He was actually a pretty down to earth dude and was extremely cool to talk to...very open about everything. He told me they Wolves told him yesterday night after the game that he was cut and that they wanted to bring him back in a few weeks. According to him management told him they wanted to keep Ollie for the 3 games while Sebass was out and then they'd resign himonce they no longer needed Ollie. He said he had an offer to play in China for 1.5M/year and if he waited for a few weeks he could lose that contract and be assed-out...so he is bouncing.

Very interesting find Shrink. As to the validity, who knows, but it is always intersting to see the potential working back stage in the front office.

There will be some sort of trade happening soon it would appear. Even the commentators (Peterson and Hammonds(sp?)) eluded to something probably in the works. I don't think it is a secret that something is in the works.

I have to admit though, I was suprised to see Booth make the team and play last night against the Bucks. Where they trying to showcase him in those small minutes in order to increase his trade value? I don't think it worked. Anyhow, I can understand why they made the moves they did, can't say I agree with them, but if they think they can get something of value from trading the expirings of Booth and possibly Collins, then it makes more sense than cutting them.

Still, was actually starting to like Ahearn and Richards was a hard worker. I am not sure we have seen the last of either. And if not with us, I am guessing they will get some run with another squad.

maybe just trying to show that Booth can actually get on the court and run and that he's not injured.

wait, does it mean we'll have only 2 point guards on our team? umm I don't know if this is so good at all. I thought we might cut Booth rather than Ollie.

PS Rev, I couldn't find hazelnut massage oil, but they had that vanilla you liked last time - is that cool? Also my grandma won't be making it this time, she's got a doctors appointment about those purple bumps.
