hello. i'm not american so understand my english grammer.
LARRY BROWN is absouletly a great coach. i don't deny it.
BUT through all preseason games, charlotte offense looks horrible. don't say we have no shooters.
jason richardson, matt carrol, adam all good shooter. but our offense is really horrible.
why? i think the biggest reason is too tight to adjust in larry brown's system.
share the ball , choose the best option to attack the rim and get the free throw ... yes such a principle not bad.
BUT this is a game, not practice.
FIRST PLAYER, SECOND SYSTEM .. hey larry understand?
frankly speaking, i have no much patience. i think our offense got worst than the offense of the last season under vincent maybe one of worst coach.
felton no jumpshot. g-force also no jumpshot. white guy like carrol, morrison has no athletic ability.
j-rich offense is composed of 3 point shoot.
so we need to throw more 3 point shots and a little bit uptempo.
i like half court offense but hey larry we have no ability to carry it.
why u failed under NY KNIKS. ;;;;
sorry i'm big fan of BOBCATS ...;;; preseason is just preseason. but i hope larry brown thoughts will be changed.. and trade..

Re: BOBCATS's problem
It's obvious the offense is atrocious. I guess you can look at the bright side, though, because it must mean they are trying to buy into Brown's system, or else they would at least be like they were at times last year, where they looked competent on offense. This is probably the worst I've seen them offensively.
I think what worries me, though, is that it doesn't seem like they are running any great plays. It just looks like the same sort of confused offense as last year, except this year, instead of taking a lot of long jumpers, they are just driving in awkwardly and running into their team mates and stuff. It'd be one thing if it looked like they were trying to run an offense and just weren't used to it, but it doesn't even seem like there is any direction to their offense at all.

Re: BOBCATS's problem
They do look that way, and most likely it's because they've been overloaded with offensive plays (what'd they say...20 plays?) and everyone's confused. I agree tho that it's a sign that they are trying, and from all reports working very hard to adjust to what LB wants.
You heard Doug Collins; LB's teams always seem to get worse before they get better. Hopefully before it gets too late this season everything will clilck like Collins said.
The defense up til they blew it out looked good though. Better than last year.
But we're in trouble at the 4 and May...at least for the first month or so. There's no way he's going to be ready to play any meaningful minutes, and the time he is in there he's more of a liability than a help. He can't stay with his guy, so Mek has to cover him...which leaves his guy open. I think it's going to be hard for the team to get better until he's able to contribute.

Re: BOBCATS's problem
May is this year's version of Brezec. He starts, plays like 4 minutes, then subs out for the rest of the half. I don't know what his problem is. I guess it's conditioning, like everyone else said. But he just doesn't look good out there. Even when he was fat and injured before, he at least somewhat produced. He's not doing much of anything out there now, except fouling.
They should just start Brown, even though it didn't look like he did too much out there tonight.

Re: BOBCATS's problem
Andre Brown has very low B-ball IQ...I'd throw Ajinca in there and tell him to not take a jumpshot, ever, or you're fired. That won't happen though. I think we trade Carroll for Evans or another PF before next week.

i wonder what is happening on the charlie v / frye / maxiell/ craig smith/ sean williams front? i would think that we have the pieces to snag one of these guys. none are the "answer" but the ceilings are high on most, are better than what we have now and could fill a role until frenchy adds 20 lbs.

Re: BOBCATS's problem
May has a long ways to go. We could so use a PF like the one Junglist just mentioned. I think Charlie V would fit in really well on this team and he can probably be had relatively cheap. If we could trade him for Carroll I'd do it.

Even if the players you have can't execute the system, that is in fact better. You don't give up on it, you make the players learn to execute and/or YOU get players who can execute it.
He failed with the Knicks because you had too many strong egos butting heads and you can't really do what you need to do when your stuck under $100 million+ of the players they had.
It may be ugly for a while, but the finished product will be so much better.
