Curry is no different from Randolph to us.. They are both overweight, lazy, cancer, can't defend, and is only motivated at the dinner table. And a Redd + Mo backcourt does not bond well together.. It's been showcased in Milwaukee. Plus, I really hope that is your final RealGM trade.

I do think the Cavs are a good PF away from taking it all but that good PF is not likely to be randolph

Re: My final real gm trade Cavs/Knicks/Bucks
Then who Outlaw? Who is this mysterious acquisition at the power foward for the cavs?
Cause boozer aint comming and besides him there is noone else that can put this team over the top at that position.
Ferry get Redd and Randolph **** Mil and NY this is Cle where the only thing that matters is winning.

I think that Wilcox is a better choice at the PF position for the Cavs (not that he alone would put them over the top) but not only is he less expensive he's also more coachable.

Re: My final real gm trade Cavs/Knicks/Bucks
Oklahoma City has a bunch of bigs that could help the Cavs: Wilcox, Collison, Petro, Sene, Joe Smith..
I don't see the Cavs taking on bad contracts like Randolph and Redd (or a bad character like Z.Randolph). Not to mention a starting lineup with Mo, Redd, and ZBo would be just horrible defensively.

Like I said in your other trade thread, the Knicks wont be able to dump the disgusting contracts of either Randolph or Curry with out either packaging their 09 1st (no protection) or maybe David Lee.

Why are you so upset man?
We'll always remember your ambition about trades. I never liked any of them but I appreciate the effort.

Re: My final real gm trade Cavs/Knicks/Bucks
'Z' and Zbo starting together would be one of the slowest front courts in the NBA which is a defensive liability and we are just talking about basketball talents here. I am sure that the Knicks don't want add sweeteners (for the CAVs) which is the only way this microscopic possibility of such a deal would have any chance.
The CAVs trade for Mo Williams means that a Micheal Redd deal is also microscopic in possibility since they didn't work well when they played together with the Bucks.

Rumors cropped up over the summer between the two teams. One of the reasons the Knicks would like to move Randolph's contract is so they can clear cap space for the summer of 2010. That's when Cavs forward LeBron James becomes a free agent (assuming he opts out).
But it's also the same reason the Cavs want to keep financial flexibility for that summer. They want to be able to re-sign James and possibly add another big-time talent. That's why the rumors don't add up.
His addition would add a lot of gray hairs to the coaching staff and front office. No one is saying Randolph is a bad guy, but he doesn't appear to be a championship-quality player.
