Gasol at 17? Really? I think Mo's high too. Rest is fine.

I'm not going to lie I rushed the Gasol pick. I was targetting Granger, & Bosh but both were gone.
I took Gasol b/c he's a good % guy to put next to Howard, and on a good team. The Bynum factor does scare me a bit (and I forgot about), but I think Gasol will find his touches and was a safe pick.
I didn't want to take Mo, but I'm glaid I did. He was the best ranked point guard available, and if i hadn't then my point guard situation would have been in trouble. PG's are slim this yr, and to have one with some upside (Lebron James) makes me feel alittle safer.

I like it, but if you are going to tank FT%, start dumping PP and Jax when their value rises. Yes, Gasol, Mo, Salmons are definite reach. But you made up for some steals in late round. Should be a competitive team.

Which "steals" do you like?
BTW the trade worked out as Wade, Kevin Martin for D.Howard, Pau Gasol.

I like Rudy Oneal and Wallace as the late steals when you are tanking FT%

I don't think Gasol is that much of a reach...
Anyone want to guess whose stats are whose?
Code: Select all
FG FT Reb Ast TO Stl Blk Pts
58.9 78.9 7.8 3.5 1.6 0.5 1.6 18.8
49.4 84.4 8.7 2.6 2.3 0.9 1.0 22.3
Anyone want to guess whose stats are whose?
On LeBron not committing fouls:

Re: NEED UR HELP: Rate my Team
Top is Gasol post-trade
Bottom is Bosh.
Bosh wins 4 cats, Gasol wins 5, including a monster advantage in FG% while giving better assists and blocks (a rare combination). I'd still take Bosh ahead of Gasol but the difference isn't so big to say that Gasol is a reach for a late top 20 pick.

You think Bynum will play a factor on Gasol's stats this year?

Might poach a rebound or two per game, but it will help Gasol's defensive stats and let him keep his FG% among the league's best.
