Kevin Lyde

Post#1 » by -MK- » Mon Oct 27, 2008 6:15 pm

My fav team in my home country (Estonia), BC Kalev/Cramo of Tallinn just signed him and he's gonna start at C for us.
I know that he was just cut from Utah some days ago, so I'd like to know what kind of shape he's in and what we can expect from him? Thanks!

He's a very big player, and not very tall. Has a solid shooting touch, and seems to have a nice understanding of the game. However he's wasn't blessed with much natural athleticism and his weight keeps him from really playing above the rim all that much.

Still a solid shot blocker and definitely belongs playing professional basketball, just not the NBA.

He seemed to be slightly out of shape and I think that's one of the main reasons he didn't make our team last year. I'm a big fan of Lyde, he knows how to use his body and still has that nice shooting touch Bat mentioned.

We should trade Collins for him...
