Look where they place the Nuggets. Every Nuggets fan has them in the playoffs, most of them in 6th, and like 1 out 3 think they'll have homecourt in the first round.

Come on, Ming. Leave them be. It's normal for fans to have high expectations for their teams.
If anyone comes in here and asks for our expectations, most of us will say the Jazz will win at least 55 games and reach the WCF. Granted we didn't lose one of our main players, but we didn't exactly do much in the offseason, besides adding Knight. The Nuggets lost Camby, but they will also have NenĂª and K-Mart back "healthy". They're a big quetion mark right now. IMO they'll be fighting for the eighth spot with the Clippers and the Blazers, but I have no problems with their fans thinking they'll reach the 2nd round. It is just one more reason to make fun of them if things don't go their way.

Well half of our team got better last year, and there is no reason to think they will not continue to get better, including our entire starting lineup. We made the WCF about 16 months ago, so why couldn't do it this season, especially when ESPN has us between 3rd and 4th depending on which preview of theirs you look at.

Now Denver on the other hand has no Camby, they start the year with looses due to Melo being out, and they are suppose to fare as well as last season, or better? Nene is never healthy, he's missed 192 games in the last 4 seasons and there is a 50/50 chance of Martin playing 70+ again. Lets face it, there is no reason to believe that a team that traded the 2006-07 DPOY for a future secound rounder can make it into a deep West that just got another team that's better than Denver in Portland.

I'm not saying I don't agree with you. I do. I'm just saying that if you go to the Grizzlies board or even the Thunder board, they will probably be expecting to win close to 40 games. If you go to the Rockets board or the Lakers board, they'll be expecting championship. Everyone usually has high expectations at the beginning of the season.

Personally I think they will be just as good as Portland this year. Portland is getting waaaaay to much hype. They are still so incredibly young that they are gonna have stretches where they struggle.

For some reason I thought for sure this would be about Blazer fans...

They had high expectations last season and look how that turned out, now they are worse.

There's actually one rational Nuggets fan on their forum, he's constantly trashing Carmelo and hoping he gets traded.

I see no point to this thread other than to troll Denver fans on our board.

Fans are fans. They are always hopeful this time of year. I'm thinking we have a championship team on our hands, I'm sure some folks in Denver would think I'm crazy.

Lets leave them be. They are probably going to have a rough season as it is.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
