Rudy Fernandez or John Salmons...

Post#1 » by 3Si » Mon Oct 27, 2008 11:15 pm

Am I nuts for even asking?

Value wise, at this moment, Salmons is definitely higher by a bit. But I believe by mid season Rudy's value will be higher. I think a lot of us have labeled Salmons as one of the better dark horses this year. But so is Rudy to a lesser extent.

I do like Rudy's all round play, plus he's PG eligible which helps my team out. I don't really need steals for my team which makes Rudy's 3pt ability pretty valuable. What do you think?

My team: (9team yahoo default H2H)

PG Allen Iverson
SG Andre Iguodala
G Tracy McGrady
SF Josh Smith
PF Michael Beasley
F Amare Stoudemire
C Marcus Camby
C Zydrunas Ilgauskas
U Gerald Wallace
U Josh Howard
BN Richard Hamilton
BN Rudy Fernandez
BN Monta Ellis

Rate my team if you have time: Thanks!

Salmons easily. Especially because Garcia is out for the first 3-4 weeks of the season. He will be seeing 35-40mpg and will be sitting top 50 until he Garcia returns.

Rudy is going to be in a time share situation, but there is no doubting his ability.

As far as your team goes, you really need 3's, unless you're tanking that cat. Which is what it looks like to me. That's how poor you are in that cat.

I like Rudy a lot, but Salmons shoudl also have a breakout year and doesn't have to compete as hard for minutes.

Go Salmons

Well, you guys have convinced me. Waiting for waiver now. Thanks.

Just hate to lose Rudy when I know he's going to be a gem.
