It's important for the Nets to get off to a fast start. Take advantage of Arenas being out, I expect Harris to have a big game. Nets win!

That's a tough match up for Yi. Other than that match up I like the others. I think we got enough to pull this game out, it's gonna be shoot out.

I don't take much stock in pre-season, but...

Man,,, I am excited waiting to see good things out of Lopez, CDR, Boone, Harris. Everyone else... meh.. my expectations aren't so high.

Wiz fan here. I think this is a great game to kick it off for both teams. I really like our matchup of AJ vs YI but AJ is also coming off an injury so I dont know how effective he will be. I actually think this game will come down to the benches. It will be Nick Young, Blatche, & Songaila vs CDR, Williams, and Boone. Thats who will decide it. We really love Young & Blatche so its time for them to take that next step and be super consistent guys off the bench. If they do that then I think we will win but if they dont then I think it could go either way.

(Awaiting newbies to reply that my prediction is highly unlikely and that I'm a 12 year old who should stick to playing with NBA The Life video game)

Seriously though, This game will be alot closer then most people think and I expect a big game from Brook Lopez with 19 points, 10 boards and 3 blocks.

i would start brook.We need an experienced big off the bench that can grab boards and play defense, u know the little stuff ,Boones good at that.Brook can be a guy that we can run are offense thru at times.We all no we can't do that with Boone.

The Nets better take this game or they are going to be staring 0-4 right in the face. Given its a long season you still dont want to start out like that.

Eventually, Lopez will take his spot. Why waste time with 15 different starting lineups!!! Lopez is our center of the future. FRANK, do us a favor let him play!!!!
