Man I wish this game was tonight. I can hardly contain my excitement anymore. For me, this has been the longest Hornets offseason EVER.

Always been a CP3 fan, not a Hornets fan full heartedly, though if I become one, that's what ya call a bandwagoner haha.

Anyways good luck to the Hornets, hope my main man CeePee3 has a good game, wishing good health man.

The Hornets looked really good despite the close score. I don't think the Warriors can shoot lights out like this every night. Posey seems like a natural fit already and Butler was hitting his shots. If Butler can break out of last year funk that'll just be icing on the cake. Great start to the season.

Recap

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=281029009

I don't know what the heck Byron was doing when he pulled CP out of the game with 6 minutes left in the first quarter. He messed with the starting lineup rotation. CP wasn't in foul trouble or anything so I don't know why he did that.

That running layup Paul did in the 4th to put the Hornets up was BIG.

Cheers too Copper, you'll see me more here haha.

Good game, D-West 24, Peja, 16, and CP being clutch, congrats for the win, hope NOLA can rack more up :)

I didn't understand taking Paul out that early either. I just assumed Scott had scripted the subs that way, that maybe he wasn't confident that James could run the second team. It'll be interesting to see if he does it again tonight, because the team fell apart during that stretch.

Brilliant win. From what I saw, a little bit sloppy from New Orleans, but the better team out came out eventually. I am so proud of NOH, starting the season so well. This momentum could well carry for a 13-0 start of the season. Good to see Chandler stack up the rebs, and Paul pile up to his last season's average. The number of turnovers should be the slightest concern. Nelson is running such a short rotation, that they are bound to run out of ammo by the end of the game. Peja needs to recalibrate a little too from the outside, but good numbers in points anyways.

One thing I thought was interesting, the disparity is +/- between James and Paul. I am looking forward to see what the effect of not having Pargo anymore will be. If Paul needs to resort to be playing 40 mpg every night, this will affect how far the Hornets will play in the post-season. I am hoping that the lineup will be changed to give James more offensive power, perhaps come in with West and Peja, rather than relying more on subs.

Congrats NOH, excellent start for the year.

Love it when dolts draw conclusions on the fan base as a whole because of this pitiful forum on this pitiful website.
