1-) First of all, it is really amazing for us to be able to talk with you. We just watched you by our screens for many years and now we are asking u some questions. Okey, can you talk about yourself, how did you start this job ? And what is the story about Clutch ?
Answer: I began mascoting in high school as a Trojan Warrior character and then onto the University of Delaware where I originated the role of their mascot YoUDee “The Fightin’ Blue Hen”. I auditioned for the Rockets position in 1995 and have been in Houston serving as Clutch since then.
2-) Is there any ritual that you did before the games ?
Answer: We (the game operations crew and other entertainers all have a pre game meeting to go over the scheduled entertainment for the night. We talk through dances, bit, contest, and any other special promotions. The game staff is the best. They really make it all happen and come together from a show stand point. We look at the game as a big show that we all deliver to our customers and fans. People are in the building for up over 3 hours and the ball is only in play for 48 minutes. It is our job to make sure they have a good time the whole time win or lose. We prefer to WIN of course.

3-) Are we going to see any suprising thing in opening night from you ?
Answer: Yes, but you’ll have to watch to see! We are always doing something new and exciting for opening night. Opening night is a BIG DEAL!
4-) Anyway, what do u think about our team, is there any chance that we can be champion ?
Answer: Absolutely! Our coach and players would be better to tell you the details of how, but I can tell you that with our current roster, I am more excited and optimistic about a successful season and post season than ever before.
5-) Do you think we need any other moves for the team ?
Answer: Only Coach Adelman could answer that.

6-) Who is the most closed person to you in this organization ? And is there any player that you are really good buddies ?
Answer: Easy answer. Sweet Susie our in-arena host and coach/chorographer of the dance team is also my wife of over 7 years. I can’t pick a favorite player. That would be like picking my favorite child or “cub” so to speak as this case would have it.
7-) What the do u think about our new design on the court ? (you know, it changed last year)
Answer: Love it! I like the natural wood look and the throw back feel of it.
8- ) Have you ever been in Turkey ? If it is not, is there any plan for do that ?
Answer: I have not and do not currently have any plans for travel to Turkey, but would love to visit and maybe even perform someday. Our Rockets Power Dancers are on their way back from performing on behalf of the NBA as we speak/write.
9-) What do you think about our site ? Is it something suprising for you ?
Answer: I think it is great that we have fans all over the world. It is exciting to think that there are Rockets fans all over the globe.
10-) I asked it Jason too, but wanna know your thought. Is there any chance that can Rockets come to Turkey, maybe in an organization like Europe Live.
Answer: I believe that is up to the NBA to decide. We always have input into the decisions, but ultimately the NBA must approve and sanction. I think you will see more and more teams in the NBA playing international games in many countries in coming years.
11-) Is there anything that you want to say to thousands of Turkish Rockets Fans ?
Answer: THANK YOU for being such great fans so far from Houston. BEST SWISHES and as always GO ROCKETS!
