Yeah, I don't know about this year, but he was certainly key to our success tonight. Go Yi!

I know you are a Bucks fan but why do you have to group the Chinese fans as one and say that everyone has to 'deal' with them? Do you somehow feel that they are a nuisance to the boards? Sure you get homer fans everywhere but if you didn't generalize like that, most i would say are smart objective posters who understand the concepts of basketball. It is completely unfair for you to take cheap shots like that.

I'm white...yet I'm honestly pumped for everything Yi brings to the team on and off the court.

Besides, I'd rather have 1 billion Yi fans than 2 Stro fans (j/k Rag Time)

I agree, if Yi and Brook progress/develop chemistry together while Boone commits to being a solid back up off the bench, our future front court looks promising. As the days go on, I'm personally thinking Sean should be traded if these scenarios occur for a guy in a need position.

You're a racist. congrats.

Anyway, first, Vince is the key to our success. Without him, we are as bad as everyone predicts.
But if Yi stays aggressive I'm looking for him to be most improved player of the year. For a guy his size, he can do it all. He's like a poor man's KG or he could be in the future if he's as smart a player as he is physically gifted.

^^^ You can make the comparison on the offensive end but not the defensive end. I love Yi, but I never see him as a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end. He won't be a major liability, but I feel if Yi progresses that in his prime he could be similar to Dirk like everyone says...gifted offensively and adequate defensively.

Its a long season if Brook or Yi got hurt you'll regret trading Sean.Look how many bigs went down in preseason alone.

Never said trade him now. I talked about if Brook/Yi progress and develop a good chemistry which means I'm not totally sold on the idea at this point. Still, even with that said, Sean needs to show some consistancy in time we give him before I change my mind. I'm wondering how much time he's gonna be getting by midseason if all our bigs are healthy.

You could make an argument for Lewis. I wouldn't agree because I think, even though Yi is athletic, Lewis is way too quick for him. Yi's only 20 so you never know, but I still think Dirk is the closest comparison in the NBA, but I think Yi is even more athletic than him.

as a 7 long man, Yi is very quick. but skinny
it seems that Brook will be a good ball deliverer...

PS:
Pls don't bash Sean or other guys who played few mins in the first game.
Yi did play well, but it's nothing but one game, he's used to up and downs, so, don't bash him when he struggles as he did in Bucks.

^ Sorry tidbit.

I for one believe that players and management are considered a potential victim of my BASHING. So I cant promise that Yi is safe.

Yeah i think Yi is definitely more athletic than Dirk. I guess maybe he's more like dirk than KG at this point, but i hope he can be a post threat as well which is why i said KG. I dont see Yi being the fadeaway jump shooter that dirk is, but he also doesn't seem to be the rebounding post player that KG is. I guess he might be a direct cross between the through.

no one is safe, for fans always want to see a better team, and every team have the potential to be better.

Managements and coach team are sitting on the volcano, only fans are safe, but we get no salary.
