Rockets T.V.

Post#1 » by kam_soluusar » Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:22 am

Hey guys,

As some of you probably know, I am a big time Rocket's fan, living in Australia.

The problem I have, is that we get 3 games per week total shown on Pay TV, or Cable as you guys like to call it. This generally means, that throughout an NBA season, I will be lucky to get maybe 4 Rockets games televised per year.

I just spent a wad of cash to get a decent computer together, and I am now looking for somewhere I can get live streaming of games. I don't care if I have to pay for membership, I just want to be able to watch Rockets Basketball.

My question, (obviously) is where to go. Do any local T.V. Networks in Houston Televise the games, or am I doomed to be shafted my whole life, because they are obsessed with only showing the following teams in Australia, (more or less.)

San Antonio, Cleveland, Denver, Boston, LA Lakers, and the odd Milwaukee game, (Only cause of Bogut.)

Please help a massive Rockets fan, for christ's sake, I have the Rox Logo tattoed on my left shoulder, and I named my sone Akeem!!!!! (Funny for a White kid with Blonde hair and Blue Eyes.!!!!

Full games bro. There is a free weekend you can try it out.

I have league pass on my Dish so the service is complimentary for me. But you should take advantage of the free preview they have going until Nov. 4th

They advertised it free until 11/11. NBA League Pass Broadband is usually free during the 1st week of the regular season and 1 week sometime after All-Star break and before March (not sure the date). Had been true for the last 2 seasons (they only had it for 2 years).

So far for the price $85 it's pretty good. Other than some games are supposedly to blackout got blackout.

I just launched NBA broadband, the phx vs noh game is on. But there aren't any live videos on it. Am I at the wrong place to watch live games online? Or is that not a feature of NBA league pass...

again, thanx for the info. Looks like I'll have to sign up with NBA.com (I suspected that would be the case.) I know that China gets all the games because of a deal with the Rox, (Thanks Yao!) I was seriously born in the wrong country. I promise I'll make it to Houston one day! (The holy land!!!)

Well, I guess that I'm off to sign-up on NBA.com

P.S. Just saw that we beat Dallas, and Ron-Ron went off tap to contribute majorly in our win. Damn I'm glad that we got him!
