LeBron has played a little slow for the beginning half of the season for three straight seasons, his game will pick up in a couple weeks, hopefully it doesn't hurt our homecourt chances too badly.

By no means am I down on him either, but I figure at 6'9 and around 250-260 lbs. slowing down will call for a change in his game. Not that he will be slowing any time soon, I say this looking ahead to his 30's perhaps. Its scary to think that he puts up such numbers with little focus a times isn't it? Let him get a month under his belt and he'll be good I'm sure.

Didn't get to see the game but I noticed in the boxscore that felton and augustin were a combined 4-18.. I know they're not the best pg duo but hopefully it's a reflection of Mo's defense too.. anyone have thoughts about this? thanks.

Did you guys ever consider that Lebron doesn't need to score 30 points a game because all the increased scoring options we have. If we win 60 games and Lebron averages 25/8/7 why should we be complaining, especially if lots of guys are involved in the offense and having big games like tonight.

Considering Felton usually lights us up, I was pretty happy about this as well.

Umm, if we win 60 games is like saying if LeBron average 40-10-10 on 60% shooting...not gonna happen. This team is not build for regular season, the EC is stronger and we still have ways to go to be considered really elite. I'll be happy with anything over 50.

What's funny is that I think that the Cavs have a higher +/- with LeBron off the floor so far. That's a far cry from where it's been in previous years. Overall that's a huge + for the team provided LeBron is still LeBron when it comes down to us needing a play in the 4th quarter of a close game. Not only would we have others who play competently but we'd also have LeBron able to destroy teams at will. I'm just worried that he hasn't been as in to the games as he normally is.

Just a heads up in case anyone missed the game last night, they are showing the replay on FSN-OH right now. Its in the second quarter right now. I didn't see the second half last night, so I plan on watching that.

Czbron the point of my post was that it doesn't matter what Lebron's statistics are as long as we are winning. But I do expect this club to win 55+ games. Half of the team wasn't even on the roster at the start of last season then we had a lot of injures. I don't think the EC is much stronger at all.

It is remarkable how much of the roster that the Cavs have turned over in the last year.

Anyway it's obvious that Bobcats are a horrible basketball team but it was good to see that guys other than LeBron was able to step up when the lead cut down to 5. Gibson, Mo, Varejao, Big Ben all of them were great. JJ was also impressive.

Its the truth. I can't believe we're even saying someone had a bad game after a 22-7-6 game and a 22-9-9 game. Spoiled as hell. LeBron will go off on his points at some point. I like the approach so far. We need to get Mo comfortable in this offense. LeBron will find a way to get his no matter what.

LeBron's potential is so high that those numbers are not that impressive anymore. Maybe it is for other superstars but not for LeBron. Anyway my critic wasn't about his numbers it was about overall performance. I watched an unfocused LeBron yesterday and that's the one thing which makes me mad. Imagine if he had Jordan's or Kobe's intensity...Last night he just scored at will, he killed Gerald Wallace or whoever was guarding him. It's so easy for him. If needed he could've done it on every possession.

Anyway I'm glad that he's only played 30 min.

That's why the Cavs do so well in the playoffs. Lebron's intensity level is much higher.

I'm still confident he will pick up his play as the season goes on though. I thought LBJ was great in the preseason when he played.
