Charlie Villanueva for Anthony Parker

Post#1 » by hsiaokang0903 » Fri Oct 31, 2008 5:42 pm

Standard roto league

I got too much rebounding and scoring, and lack 3pts. I offered Villanueva for A.Parker. The trade is pending now. What do you think about this one? Thanks.

Don't like it. Parker got 1 3pg more last year, granted, but I expect him to fall of and Villanueva to pick things up. If you were going to target a Raptor, Kapono would be the guy. Killer %s, no TOs, and likely to be the biggest recipient of open looks thanks to JO and Bosh.

Hard to say after last night's game. Seems like Mitch will be giving Parker a lot of minutes this year. Parker is always a pretty good roto player, and since you don't need rebound and scoring, I think he's a pretty good pick up. Charlie might be at a higher value based on his "potential", but Parker is the safer pick IMO.

I'll do that deal. Villanueva always had the potential but never lived quite up to it yet. Parker is the much safer pick. As the season goes on, JO and Bosh are going to open things up more for them Raptor shooters.
