The Spurs are dealing with injury issues to several players and it hurts their productivity. They barely have any backups to help rest their frontcourt now they these injuries are set them right now. Plus the majority of their roster are south of 30 and that doesn't help. Albeit anymore injuries, they should cough up a win sooner or later.

They have opened up with two tough teams. You gotta remember Pop is a great coach and they will get the job done. They have another tough game with Dallas coming up, but after that, they have a string of what should be gimmes. Duncan and Parker alone is enough to beat the majority of teams in the league. Dont count them out quite yet. They really do need to get some young depth though. Im not sure how, but its what they need if they want to be successful in the future.

No question about that. And like you said, don't count the Spurs out too fast and obviously ppl shouldn't. It would be good if they collect some winnable games with the key injuries they have on their end right now. It would be wise to see what assets they have to trade off for a player or two who can contribute to their rotation well enough to win games.

Counting teams out on November 1st is stupid, esp. the Spurs.

Either way that draft pick is lottery protected. Would be nice if it fell in the 15-16 range though.

I did not say they are washed up... hoping for a 20 to 30 game injury to get a high teen pick

I try to make it a practice to never hope for any injuries for any players... even if I really don't like them. That said, I'm not a big fan of the Spurs myself and would love it if everyone got revenge for all of their wins over the last few years by beating them on the court.

can't be that bad, they can tank this year and rebuild . Knowing their luck, they'll get another first pick and be instant championship contenders again
