I am not trying to blast you, but that suggestion is crazy. Offensively (scoring, passing) and intangibles, Nash is still probably the #1 PG in the league. He is a team first guy, with a low salary who makes everyone around him better. He takes care of his body and I can see him being John Stockton like in his aging gracefully. Nash can handle the offense slow or fast. However he does play even better fast, and so does the team. Terry Porter has to be smart enough to play to his team's strengths, and he is not. Nash is not the problem. As others have said, he only had turnovers at the end, when he was trying to force the action when the team and the plays they were running were out of sync.
Porter needs to talk Gentry, and like him run the offense, and stick to D. It is killing me watching this team getting gutted for the purpose of playing a certain way. Steve Kerr wants to be the Spurs so bad he is willing to jeopardize winning (I don't think consciously but I can see the influence). The Spurs play the way they are cause they are a slower team with less shooters. I just wish Porter and Kerr would understand that. They have an issue with scoring high points. Who cares if the Suns can get the stops and score high points.
Either way, Nash stays, and Kerr would be crazy if not. Porter will be crazy if he doesn't run more and use more pick and roll.
