That defense is something.

I had to run some kid errands. Tommy was saying Pruitt could defend Rose.

Hard to get an assist when the guys he was passing to were missing wide open looks all night.

Haven't posted in a while, been lurking and reading though. Estatic the season's upon us again. Leon's come out of the gates strong. Overall the defense hasn't skipped a beat. It's early in the season, but the one thing I can harp on a smidge is the offense. And really more the second unit than the starters, Though I still think Ray Allen is more a lone gunman so far than truly integrated in the flow. I love that Rondo is looking to drive more and initiate contact.

Just some rambling thoughts....

We just need to take better care of the ball.Turnovers are still our weakness.

And I hate playing Davis at center. We have no interior defense and shot blocking when we play like that...

I agree on Davis. I'm assuming it comes down to a trust issue. Hopefully at some point O'Bryant can gain the trust of the coaching staff and grab those backup center minutes.

Rondo's free throws are beginning to worry me, as he's posting shaquesque numbers, 9 of 17 so far :(
how is his jumpshot? He didn't take any in game 1. What about yesterday?

Yeah Rondo and Leon have to nail their freethrows. That game was an ass whooping last night. Rose does look good. Now IF Drew Gooden,Ty Thomas and the other with the bad hai and jumper, weren't essentially all the same player. Limited on offense except rebounding and can only play D next to the basket. Thomas had a block last night on a ball that ididn't think he could get to. It was eithe on TA or Rondo.

Rondo had to stay off the floor. Why can't he land on his feet more.

i love that rondo has made it a point of emphasis to get to the line. in the first two games he's basically gotten to the line at will. it's better than last year when he avoided contact and tried to throw in circus shots. i hope he learns to draw just enough contact to draw a foul without getting plastered, though. and i hope he hits better than 57% of his FTs. i actually think his form looks better this year, it's different, but he's not hitting them. probably just a matter of game experience.

The rest of Bulls look pretty mediocre. That's the trap teams can fall in when they overrate their own young talent. Not every player grows and so on..

He's not A.I. small. He's 6'2. That's about average height for a PG

Agree though. This team is garbage. Gut it.

All the guy does is make baskets. He is an excellent offensive player.

I'm surprised at all the love for Rose based off this game. He only notched 1 assist, and scored most of his points while being "guarded" by House, who struggles with faster PGs. Anyone thinking he's a more athletic Jason Kidd needs to recognize the rest of the stuff Kidd brings to the table.

I'm worried about House's shooting so far this season. Here's hoping he turns it around soon...

How many assists do you think someone can notch when their team shoots 28% on the night?

Exactly, not very many assists

It's also hard to get assists when you aren't looking to pass. Every time the kid had the ball it stayed there.
