Seems we need George back at the SG position

Post#1 » by Xenopathic Investigator » Sat Nov 1, 2008 1:35 am

Last night we played pretty well(for 3 quarters). But as usual the our mental toughness is a problem.
seeing how the media is biased agianst us they alway seem to "play along". We terry should have scored in the 4th and stack was non-existant. Wright is too green to start at the 3. At least george can play some very good 1 on 1 defense...can't shoot worth a damn but he can play defense well.

The chemistry seemed a bit off. Terry wasn't being aggressive enough. Stack didn't do anything other than knock down a jumper late. Our offense is not aggressive enough. I thing both on the defensive side and offensive side there are glaring chemistry problems(people missing rotations etc).We may lose 2-4 game then break out like the 67 win season.

I think george should have started to keep artest in check. I mean rook wright cannot guard a vet big man like artest on the perimeter.Thats a sure thing from what I saw last night. Howard can't guard both Tmac and artest come on!

I agree with most of your saying but Josh Howard's actually playing good defense.

Seldom do I see an open jumper for T-Mac or Artest when Josh's defending. Rarely do I see any of the combo blow past Josh Howard. Josh stay with them most of the night. Artest's on fire. It's not Josh Howard's fault.

T-Mac is pretty much in check all night long. I think the problem is on Wright and Terry if anything else. Howard and Kidd defend well actually.

Wright and Howard played good defense against Tmac last night. Wright was forcing it on offense a little, which can be fixed, but don't dis his defense on TMac.

I dont really think George will be all that productive this year... If George was to start, Id rather have him at the 3 and Howard at the 2
