When is he expected back? How bad is this thumb injury?

Yep, the suspensions stems back to the seventh game of the playoffs when Marvin flagrantly fouled Rajon Rando as Rondo went up for the layup.
Can't wait to see how Marvin fares on Saturday. I'm hoping for a breakout performance.

Re: Marvin Williams?
Marvin did injure a thumb, left one if I recall correctly. He came back and played some in the final pre season game. In our opener, he served his one game suspension.
He's good to go for the home opener. Question is, will he be slightly rusty due to the layoff with the injury and then the suspension? Or, will he be all wound up and too tense to preform?
Here's hopin' that he is great and everything goes as well tonight.

Re: Marvin Williams?
didn't feel like starting another thread and this proposal is a little premature since we haven't seen marvin play yet.. but what do you think of a trade based around:
marvin
claxton
for
odom
i'm not sure of fit with either team (disclamer- i'm a fan of neither team so i'm just looking for constructive feedback please
) but i think that it gives the laker's a sf that they could play for future years and you guys don't really lose any production (possibly gain production) with odom for this year and he's expiring so you gain quite a bit of capsace (or should i say even more capspace) for next year for maybe boozer (if josh smith plays sf) or hedo (if smith plays pf).. i don't know this trade just popped into my head what do you guys think?

"We (Laker fans) LOVE Odom!"
"Odom works GREAT on our team! The chemistry is terrific!"
"He's much too talented to trade!"
"By the way, what would you offer for Odom?"

My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
