Actually I wasn't saying he was playing well, but he certainly wasn't playing poorly. I'd say the same about tonight. He had some big mistakes here in this fourth if you want to pick him apart. He had 1 turnover and 12 assists before this quarter. Gibson and Z were on fire when we put LeBron back in the game. Then we go to pound, pound, shoot in desperation. Should have kept working the ball through Z in the paint, he was giving Anderson a nightmare show.

You can't play well when you are the reason that your team blows a lead. It's impossible. It negates everything that you did before. LeBron has always been a great 4th quarter player and so far this year he's played like crap when the team most needed him to play well.

I really am willing to bet that LeBrons =/- so far this year is negative.

This is one of the few times in the last couple of years that I can say Lebron flat out sucked. Seems like he can't get in rhythm playing off ball. Somethings gotta give, and has he hit more than one jumper yet?

One thing is clear now: LeBron should never ever play for the US team again. My only concern about this season was the possibility that 06-07 LeBron aka Mr.Coastman or Mr.Strugglesville might come back and first 3 games of the season is clearly showing that LeBron is tired. His energy, his attacking mentality is lost. In other words we're in trouble.

By the way, what the heck is wrong with our rebounding. We've been giving up way too many offensive rebounds all season. I think we need Gooden back. He was by far our best defensive rebounder.

Anyone else want to make the Dallas game thread? Try some different mojo.

I didn't say LeBron played well tonight. If the Cavs lose, of course LeBron had a big hand in it. That will be the case in any game he plays in his career. I disagree that it negates everything you did before that point. LeBron last year against the Hornets averaged 21-4-3 in two games. Tonight he put up 15-6-13. Sometimes its in the matchups. Give the Hornets props, they were shorthanded tonight.

This is bigger than LeBron. It's the team. They have big lapses for quarters at a time. We've played some tough competition. Cavs got some things to fix, better early than late. We're 1-2, big deal. Congrats Nawlins, lets get a win against Dallas on Monday.

I think that the reason that the team has big lapses is because of LeBron. If he's focused they seem to be focused. By the way, that fact that NO was shorthanded makes this lose even that much more embarrassing (well unless you think we are not as good as them). Fact is players like Devin Brown were grabbing rebounds and making plays when LeBron was not. And under no circumstances should be be outscored by Devin.

yeah lebron needs to remove his head from his rear and actually start playing and acting like he wants to be there...these first three games he has seemed very disinterested
