OT-Real Salt Lake hosting the Western Conference Finals

Post#1 » by Duiz » Sun Oct 26, 2008 5:04 pm

I don't know if anyone else saw the game last night. Wow! I mean it, goal in the 90th minute, desperation shot to win the rocky mountain cup, win the deepest rivalry, and go to the playoffs. I swear I haven't seen something as dramatic and exciting since the days of Okur the year he did 7 last second buzzer beaters.

I've seen the highlights but the stupid networks didn't televise the game of that magitude. (not my package anyway) Would've loved to see it.

By the way Batronuj it's MLS soccer.

Real has the advantage with the first game at home (weird how they favor the lower seed in MLS the first round) Hope they make it to the Western finals!

Its stupid Chivas USA. I hate them so badly.

edfmx... since Brad Guzan left, Chivas USA doesn't even compare to its Mexican counterside.

I must say that this is a playoffs game, and they are fighting for their lives. Honestly, the clippers aren't that cool. It is a no brainer for a Utah sportsfan.

RSLFM did have a stream of the game online. It was crazy. Specially how eerily similar they are to the Utah Jazz. played a horrible game to start, but deliver the heartbreaker at the end of the game. Morales is finesse like Williams, and Movsisyan is like a current Boozer, not like Movsisyan has ever been that great. The only difference is that RSL's defense is far more supreme than the Utah Jazz's, and Utah Jazz does have more finisher. But the style of game, and the reputation of the game is eerily similar... Tough team, great offense, but never good enough to everyone.

I will gladly be seating in the best section of the stadium, THE UPPER DECK. It is so pimping good up there, the best price for the best way to see the game.

They play home and away series. Having the second game of the series on your home field is considered more of an advantage because then you know how many goals you have to score.

Yeah, it really is starting to get annoyed. Just like when you hear people like these...

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=LOU9xZ4zcss&NR=1

Listen to the end when Dana Bash kicks in...

Really, I wish I could go watch the game to Los Angeles, but I have school on Saturdays. At least I have my tickets for Saturday, and since the game is at 4:00 PM, I could literally make it to the majority of the Jazz game. I am pumped, this Saturday is going to be great. Playoff atmosphere+Season kickoff should make it a blast.

Is anybody else here planning on going?

What a win tonight, another desperation goal in the last minute.

Although loved the Jazz game tonight, RSL seriously owned the night for Utah sports.

Did you see Morales on fire? The guy was nuts out there, almost like a Chris Paul or Deron Williams, just without the finishers. I think we are gonna tie next game, to win the series.

Hmmmm, I understand that point of view but the offense/defense is set up depending on how one wants to play and Real can now play a defensive game and win. I think Chivas usa has a harder time next game to score against a defensive set than the advantage one gets for playing at home.

I went to the game by the way, it was a great game....Real got robbed they should have won 2 to 0. That was NOT a foul. Hope that doesn't come back to haunt them.

that is the error in your thinking... RSL can't play a defensive bunker style to save their lives... never have been able to. Plus Chivas always kills us there.

Return to Utah Jazz
