Anyone have a download link to the game? If this isn't allowed here, sorry, I don't really know the rules.

Give Barbs a break. The match up was all wrong for him. He is awsome at the right times and lousy in others.

The matchup "isn't right" like 2/3ds of the time, though, so some of us grow weary of him.

Did not get to watch the game, but read about it and looked at the box score. It sounds like our depth is not that good everynight. Barbs is sucking, and Dragic only played 7 mins? Lopez did not play as much either. Diaw was ok, but 2 rebs??? Hill was throwing up bricks again.

Its nice to see he is using so many players, but the thing is, our depth has a long way to go to keep our stars legs fresh.

Saw the game. I think Terry rotation was dictated by what occured during the game. Lopez didnt play much because amare didnt get into foul trouble. I think amare rotated both PF and C. When AMare was on the floor Shaq was the C and when Diaw was on the floor Amare was on C.

Dragic didnt play much because he was all over the place. He gambled too much. Lb is slowly getting there and with practices he should be fine. Terry Porter is going to play whichever players will give him the best mismatch.

Amare is trying but there are still times where he forgets to box his man out or at least get a good idea where he is. His defensive mindset is there but fundamentally is where he needs help. Whenever he guarded some one at the perimeter he instinctively depends on his athleticism. He needs to widened his stance and get his butt low. He is too erect when he is guarding those guys so even a litlle juke can beat him. He did bang with LeMarcus Aldridge without problem in O and on D. I think amare just needs to get his butt lower and widen his stance.

Sweet lou got to get some important minutes last night. I think overall Terry did a good job at his rotations. Dont worry Lopez and Dragic will get there minutes just last night.

Yeah, our bench last night was nothing steller, but you know what? I am glad they still got a chance to play. Sure Dragic played 7 minutes (not great either), but at least Porter didn't throw him on the bench after 1 minute of play and put him in the dog house for the remainder of the season.

On paper, our bench is the best it has been in years. But on the court, they need time to click. And to get used to the rotation. Under Mike D's system, you make 1 turnover or 2 missed shots in a row, and your season is done.

I would much rather play our bench, even if they are not playing like superstars. The only time I would consider benching players for long periods of time is if they are lacking effort. But as long as they are working hard and putting forth 110% effort, what is the harm in allowing them to play through it?

Come the end of the season, our bench will probably log more minutes than ever in the past 4 seasons. And they will play better from it. A bench on paper is only as good as how much court time you give them.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Only thing that worried me last night was why Lopez didn't get minutes...

porter said it was because of the matchups, which he did say at the start of the season that there would be games where dragic or lopez didnt play depending on matchups

I don't think matchups was a big issue last night. For Lopez anyway. He wasn't guarding guys like Duncan or Gasol anyway so I don't know why he didn't get minutes. Not sure if Amare or Shaq was playing great D or not, but LMA started out hot and kinda fizzled out. Great to see Lou get some minutes. This guy is going to be a fan favourite real soon if he gets more PT.

I know that Porter is probably still tweaking the rotations but from what I've seen, I don't like how he put the whole 2nd unit on at the same time and yesterday played our starters for basically the whole game. The only time we should play our entire 2nd unit at the same time is when its garbarge time.

Again, wasn't intended to be a game thread; I'm not actually a regular Suns poster, I never make game threads because the only forums to which I routinely make a high volume of my posts are the GB and PC boards.
