Pardon my French, but how the f*ck is Georgia still in the Top 15?

Also, all things considered, what do you guys think the chances are that we see Utah or Boise State in the NC vs. a one-loss team (I'm saying this in the light that nobody else wins out)?

even worse how the hell LSU is still top 15? they played two respectable teams and got blown out twice.

i would put Utah in NC if they beat TCU & BYU but i dont buy Boise st, their best win would be against a Oregon team that is mediocre at best.

so let's talk hypotheticals, say ok. state rolls into lubbock next week and wins by 2 scores, how high in the polls do u think they'd jump? i doubt they'd get past florida but does anyone think they'd go ahead of usc or OU? or even texas?

that is an absolute joke. east coast conspiracy. right coast media bias. NO WAY! from what ive seen, possibly florida is the only team that deserves to be ranked ahead of us. and if we played them, we slap 50 on them by halftime.

question is, can you slap 50 on oregon state?

well that's why i said by 2+ scores, if we win convincingly on the road in lubbock i was curious if we'd be rated ahead of texas

you lost head to head to texas, that s why i said probably not. also, texas has a win over oklahoma which would be seen as a better win than oklahoma state s win over tech.

florida is good, BUT THATS IT!! folks expect the whole southeastern conference to be as good and as consistent as USC each and every year. it just aint the case. there are some top quality teams, for sure, but after that top 1 maybe 2, they are crap. this does seem to an UP big12 year however, but penn state, alabama and texas tech are not the real deal. texas tech can be defeated easily, penn state showed weakness in their armor, and alabama is just UP in a down SEC year. so they get the over-rated-over-flow from the rest of the conference.

i would say that from what ive seen in SPEED and POWER in an overall team, athleticism to cover deep passes and power to stop the run. with depth in all positions, the top 2 teams that ive seen is florida and USC. however, lose to ole miss and oregon state and folks wont give you the time of day.

I agree with LAKESHOW for once.

The 2 best teams are UF and USC.

I disagree. I think both teams had their chance and they blew it. They both lost to unranked teams. Florida at home and USC on the road. I think the two best teams are Penn St. and Alabama right now at this point.

Exactly. . .It doesn't matter if they are "playing" the best right now! They should have been playing their best when they playing were playing Oregon State/Ole Miss respectively.

While I'll agree that they are playing the best ball at this moment. . .it doesn't matter if BAMA & Penn State don't lose

btw. . .ROLL TIDE

Far as I can tell, the three best teams in the land are Florida (somehow), Penn State, and Texas Tech.

The Gators are winning the SEC.

But I don't think that PSU is even remotely close to UF or USC.

ur the key to bama's success pnf, keep doubting them, if they drop this game saturday i'll know why

also it sucks knowing we dropped that game to texas, if we played at a neutral site i think we're as good as them just made mistakes at inopportune time, the cowobys may not be the best team in the land but there's no doubt in my mind we can play w/anyone and hopefully come saturday we'll prove that.

i am not buying texas tech yet, hardest part of their schedule coming up and i doubt they ll survive it. florida has been impressive but if both PSU and Tech goes undefeated, they wont be playing for the NC, so they are not exactly controlling their own fate. and USC cant complain being below PSU, their best win came against same team but PSU won it away, plays in a better conference and would be undefeated if things hold up.

if i have to predict i would go with Florida vs. PSU for NC.

another SEC vs. BIG10 matchup?

no way. that is another blowout waiting to happen.

hey, if not for a fumble or mistake here or there, OSU is better than penn state. now wait until a well rounded team with an experienced QB gets to 'em.

if Penn St. and Texas Tech are both undefeated at the end of the year why won't they both be in the title game

especially with the teams Tech will have to beat to get there
