VS.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Key match up:

Collison vs. Jefferson: Will he be able to contain him?

Interesting note: Wesbrook and Love were drafted back to back and both played for UCLA last year. This is their first matchup.

I predict our youths have a strong night against the Wolves. Thunder by 17.

Knicks fan here. Wow this Westbrook kid can play, you're lucky you have him. Great pick, very underrated. He just carried you guys back into the game and stole the momentum. Unbelievable for a rookie in his third game.

CONGRATS on your first win, picked you guys to beat the Wolves.

Westbrook is a BEAST, that guy can attack the bucket.

Collison with a double-double as him and Wilcox played very well.
Jeff Green with 13 points, but he missed 2 clinching freebies.

Final 88-85, as you have a great stadium, cheerleading squad, fanbase, and that team can make some noise under PJ.

I really hate coaches that put talented rookies on the bench rather than start them. Westbrook has outplayed Watson for these three games in limited time and I don't see that changing.

I really don't like Watson. He played like ****! Please bench him even if the team can't trade him!

For me the jury is still out on the Watson/Westbrook situation. Westbrook has been pretty impressive in the first few games, and Watson less so. But I think that Earl overall is a pretty decent PG and Westbrook will be able to slowly bring along the PG skills (as he needs to) by sitting a bit, playing a little bit of bench sparkplug (which is where his level of play would ideally put him on a good team) and then getting some PG action too.

It'll happen in time, but for now I think Watson is the choice and PJ is actually doing a good enough job of handling it. Fans always are yelling for the young guys to play, even on contending teams, and I think the thought that you have to start to get improve as a bball player is a little misguided.

westbrok is getin 20+ meaningful minuts, that should be enough for the first third of the season.
He'll probably great in the middle and then I actually expect him to burn out a bit as most rookies do.
