Re: Player of the Game 2008
Just about everyone sucked in the game against Boston, but at least Anderson was grabbing tough rebounds.
The Second game, I think that it undoubtedly goes to Daniel Gibson who put up 25 2 4 on 10/14 shooting.

It's Boobie easily for the game against the Bobcats.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
Yeah, it was Big Z for the game with New Orleans.
For the game with Dallas, I think it has to be LeBron. He was 8-of-20, but scored 29 points and took over when we needed it. But others may say it could be Mo since the Cavs ended the third quarter ahead by six and he scored nine points during a 13-0 run at the start of the final period.. Which of course, led to a blowout.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
I'm torn between Delonte and Z for the Dallas game. Sure LeBron put up the bigger numbers, but these guys were getting it done early and while the game was still in doubt. LeBron really put up alot of his numbers after we'd already taken a lead (although he did a great job of expanding that spread). Fact is the spread was created by the other guys.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
I would have chosen Delonte, but he really faded out after that excellent first quarter. I'd have to give this one to Z again. He also got my vote for the NO game. The big man was draining that jumper and had some timely rebounds. Honorable Mention to Ben Wallace. He gave Dirk fits all night and had 8 offensive boards(even though he didn't score a point).

Delonte was killing it from 3, but all of a sudden he was benched and sat for a long time. No idea what happened with that.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
I think it is pretty transparent that LeBron is the player of the game for the game against Chicago.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
I can't think of anything more obvious than LeBron being the POG of this game. Great game by LeBron who was in the form that I like. I still think that the Cavs coasted and while the lead might have dwindled at times they just went on a run at will.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
To be fair ben wallace played great tonight. If we limit his minutes to keep him conditioned i think we can get 25 min a game of terrific defense and rebounding.

Against the Pacers, it's got to be AV in my opinion. Nice and consistent all around game for AV and the CAVs needed it tonight against the Pacers.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
I thought it was Anderson as well. While LeBron and Williams both put up more points those turnovers hurt. Varejao was unexpected and efficient.

I'm pretty sure that nobody would say anyone other than LeBron for the Chicago game. Man, I wish we played them every game.

It's LeBron against Milwaukee for his 3rd 41 point game of the season.

Re: Player of the Game 2008
Now this Denver game is going to be an interesting debate. LeBron had a monster game with 22/11/8 but, I really think the player of this game was Mo. Mo was huge and had numbers of 24/6 with a steal and a block.
