After his pretty good performance on Monday night do you feel since he is all healthy that Byron Leftwich could be a starter in the NFL once again

Leftwich got a bad rap, but seriously, take a look at all the QBs starting in the NFL this year (or was starting lol). He has to be better than a lot of the guys out there. The guy has a live arm, reads the defense well, and understands the game. He's a good leader who doesn't throw his teammates under the bus.

If you give him the weapons and able to protect him a bit, he can still be a middle of the pack QB in the NFL.

I will never consider Leftwich a probowl type QB..
But I never understood why Jacksonville just got rid of him just like that..

I think he still has the capabilities of leading a team into the playoffs with good players around him!

I always had a soft spot for him. I think with the right team he could be a decent starter. He has a bad rap because of the teams hes played on. When he was there, Jacksonville had a terrible receiving corps, and Atlanta was just terrible

I do not know his exact record but I do know that as a starting QB Leftwich has a winning record. I never really understood why this guy has been given another chance. He has a strong arm and is a proven winner. Sure his delivery is slow but he is still a winner who I would not mind have starting on my team.

He has 24 wins and 23 losses on games he started, which is not bad given he started his rookie year (where most young QBs struggle, and on a bad team), and includes two games when he's hurt and on a bad Atlanta team, and a playoff loss to the mighty Patriots in Gillette.
