Even if the mavs had value to give and we are in seperate divisions and if Timmy does not retire a Spurand their FO has a collective brainfart, we still would not get Timmy.

Spurs didnt even have Manu. They arent declining at all, and if they were, the Mavs would probably be the last team they would trade him to, even if we had the peices to make a trade work, which we dont

I don't expect the Spurs to beat out New Orleans or LA to represent the West this year but the team is far from being on the decline. Once Manu is back he's going to energize the team and everything will come together for them. I feel they really missed out on Corey Maggette during the off-season.

It's not even worth mentioning Timmy coming to Dallas. It's not like the Spurs are looking to move him and he still has many years left on his contract that will pay him 20+ per/year.
