7:00pm CST
New Orleans Arena, New Orleans, LA

Hornets
Chris Paul
Morris Peterson
Peja Stojakovic
David West
Tyson Chandler

Hawks
Mike Bibby
Joe Johnson
Marvin Williams

It's possible that Tyson and Peja may play against the Hawks.

New Orleans Hornets starting center Tyson Chandler and starting small forward Peja Stojakovic participated in Tuesday's full-court scrimmage and Coach Byron Scott said both are likely to play Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks.

"We'll see how they feel in the morning, but I'll say right now both are a go,'' Scott said.

Should be a fun game, hopefully it's a close game and not a blowout.

Take it easy on us guys.

The New Orleans Hornets may be at full strength for Wednesday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks if a pair of injured starters play as expected.

Center Tyson Chander, who has missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle, and forward Peja Stojakovic, who sat out Saturday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with the same injury, both said at Wednesday morning's shoot-around they'd suit up for the Hawks.

Look out for our Hawks this year boys! 3-0 this year with 2 HUGE road wins against playoff teams from last year.

What a joke of a game from the Hornets (except for CP3) woulda been better off keeping Chandler & Peja rested..

But it's ok I guess, we needed to lose one so everyone forgets we're contenders again ;p

I was saying the same thing. I think the team would've played harder if Tyson and Peja remained out. The Hornets can't have too many days off between games. They always look slow and lazy when they resume playing. I noticed this last season as well. They were outhustled and outrebounded and the Hawks shot the ball well. On to Charlotte Friday.

Haha! Looks like the Hornets took the Hawks lightly. I'll bet they won't do that again.

"We thought we could just turn it on whenever we got ready," said Hornets point guard Chris Paul, who scored a team-high 22 points. "They were just better than us. We have to understand it's a long season. We lost a game. We would like to go 82-0, but it wasn't very likely. We just have to find out what our identity is and we have to start establishing it."

"We just came out flat and they had a little more pep in their step," said West, who scored 15 points but could not avoid stretches when he was unable to make shots. "They kept us on our heels defensively, and we couldn't stop them."

Hopefully just a blip on the radar. I hope Chandler and Peja are back to their best soon, but lets not rush it.
