^ As long as he doesn't go to Spurs, I'm fine with it.

He's more inclined to retire or resign with the Pistons.

I still think Denver fleeced Detroit.

IMO denver got the better end of this deal if McD stays. With billups they get leadership and more team involvment. Also JR Smith should really benifit from the deal. Which is scary since he already owns the suns...

I don't see why DEN would do this trade either, they are obviously attempting to rebuild on the fly by sending DPOY Camby to LAC for cap relief which kind of goes against trading for an aging vet with years left on his contract.

we are rebuilding while staying competitive and saving a little cash. great trade for us.

As for DEN, I honestly believe that if they want to make playoffs, they would need all the offense they could get from A.I and Melo. The other day they pushed LA to OT with no defense. Now they add a defense guy and lose a major contributor on the offensive end. This trade won't get them into playoffs, especially when their only real offensive guys are Melo and J.R.

Bad trade imo.

no defense? did you see the game? in the 2nd half and overtime combined we gave up only 48 pts total. the D late in the game was great. our D is underrated (around 10th last year).
