Amare is averaging positive assist/turnover ration this season so far. The guy is learning to expand his game.

Man. Amare should play like this in playoff and lets see how Duncans of the West will defend him.

ESPN is short changing Amare:

INDIANAPOLIS -- Amare Stoudemire scored 49 points, falling a point short of his career high in the Phoenix Suns' 113-103 victory over Indiana on Wednesday night.

It's because apparently the Indiana scorekeepers gave Amare 2 extra points halfway through the 4th quarter. I thought it was weird at the time that he just randomly picked up 2 points, but since they didn't correct it until after the game I just accepted it. In the postgame show Eddie Johnson and Tom Leander were musing about how the hometown Indiana scorekeepers did it on purpose so that Amare would stop scoring once he thought he had 50. Curse those homers!!!

Still a beastly game by Amare though

This will stay being the best game for any player this season. 18/22 with 3 forced shots two of those being 3 pointers which aren't his game.

So in essence, 18/19 in fg, 15/15 in ft. Incredible.

I didn't notice that during the game! I skipped the postgame to eat dinner.

Good to see us play with heart and make a comeback like that, Amare was sick :o
I also like that we're resting Shaq at the right times and playin the bench this year. Our overall offense has been about almost as awesome as during the D'Antoni era over the past couple games, wanna see us keep that up.

Man as awesome as the comeback was, our O outside of Amare was pretty atrocious, and our D was even worse. I hope they work on that.

^^Gameplan in all the other games was to share the rock, this time it was to feed Amare.
If u take out Amare's stats we still shot .465 FG (which includes 14 3pt FG attempts). That's a pretty good % considering it's without the team's primary bigman and 1 outta 4 of those attempts were 3 pointers.

Amare wasn't at 100% physically at the season start, he is now. I expect us to get him more touches (specially in the PnR) then he got in earlier games now that he's healthy.

the second half was decent. I do agree that the suns havnt had a good overall game. I think the defense is improving. As long as it continues to improve I have no problem with it. Porter played 9 players tonight. I was suprised Robin didnt get to play. Dragic did get some got Pt though. I can tell that Porter is giving dragic oppurtunities.

I think They missed barnes in the first half but slowly adjusted when the second half started.

I dont care if they took off 6 points from Amare, as long as the Suns won thats what counted and we did. We were practically down the whole game and never gave up and we came back fighting to win the game.

The defense still looks bad during some parts of the game, but it's much improving from those last 4 years coached by Dantoni. I kinda had a feeling at Halftime Porter would drill the Suns for not playing a lick of defense and make them come out hungry in the second half, and look what they did which they limited the Pacers to only like 35 points in that 2nd half.

The refs sucked
O Brian sucked tonight. Rush had the hot hand yet got 20 minutes.
I can not believe that we didnt do anything, anything necessary to make anyone else but Amare score. I blame O'B for not making adjustments. After the second half, I would have rather had Raja Bell score 35 on us then Amare just continue to treat our post D like 5th graders on recess. If we doubled constantly down low , we force Bell, Hill , Diaw to beat us. It was a disgrace the way OB did not adjust. I know its one game and Im heated, but I don't want to see this again. It also looked like we lost confidence in the 3rd. We stopped going to the hole and continued to miss open 3's. Granger took the 4th quarter off.

Quisy looked good , for the most part. I know he went 1-6 from downtown, but I think 3 of those were late in the game desperation shots. I dont know if anyone noticed, but He had 0 turnovers. He appears to be focused and under control. I hope when Dunleavy gets back, and starts, that Quisy doesnt regress and becomes a different player off the bench. Quisy's defense has loked very good so far, and for all Dunleavys positives, its a big difference with him defending shooting guards.

We have to find a defensive PF in a trade somehow, or suffer until next year when we have salary cap room.

You guys look good this year. respectfully though I see Grant Hill being the week link. Nothing personal, obviously a class act guy, but He was abused off the dribble by both Rush and Granger and even Daniels a couple times. To me it looks like he doesnt have the lateral quickness to keep up anymore. I guess Barnes starts for those reasons .

Is Barnes a much ebtter on ball defender than G Hill at this point in his career?

Thanks and good luck in the season , we'll see ya in the desert soon enough

^ I would say that Barnes is a hybrid of Grant Hill and Raja Bell at this point.

I just found that out last night. Well all I can say now is try looking for warez-bb and try looking there. There are usually some games available there.
