Wow, nice picks. Mauve continues to build his way up into being one of the top 6 teams. I see a couple more decent guys out there but it's going to be a crapshoot after the third round.

You know nothing. Just thought I'd remind you.

And don't worry SSK, I sent stud a PM for you so he wouldn't feel like you left him out.

Sorry Stud didn't send you one. Although I'll give your team a look.

And thank you bigboy.

To me, that looks like that end of the good prospects. Crapshoot from here.

Yes that's correct. A very crafty strategy I might add.

But be warned stud, by supplemental I want to make it clear that that means after the end of round 4, just because you pass in round 3 of this draft doesn't mean you get a supplementary pick at the end of the 3rd round.

So to be clear, because Sett sure as hell can't, stud could pick here or get pick #49 in the prospect draft.

Sett, who would you rather have Frazier or Revere?

No, pick #51, but it's complicated. I'd rather have Frazier. More power potential and a better park. Revere might a guy who hits .280 with 100 R and 40 SB so that's not too bad either.

.280, really? He just hit .379 in hitters hell. Granted he had a very high BABIP but he's also fast as ****.

And how #51? Isn't there 12 teams and 4 rounds? Or are you doing something like having the picks owed by the old owners and making them supplemental picks of that round instead?

Well, Bleeding Green traded away his first and second rounders so I was thinking of having a 13 pick randomizer and having him as the thirteenth manager. In rounds 3 and 4 we can just subtract his pick as if it doesn't exist. I think it's the fairest way because the new guys should get their full arsenal of picks to work with. So, 13 + 13 + 12 + 12 = 50.

Re: Ben Revere

I'm just saying that even Sickels (Twins homer) only rates him a B+. Sure there's the "Kenny Lofton potential" but one thing gets messed up with those guys and they're toast. A slump and he's Michael Bourn. Some kind of leg injury and he's a guy hitting .280 - .310 with limited power and 25 SB. Plus look at where Frazier will be playing. And he didn't exactly struggle in high A. I probably flubbed a little on the AVG (but whatever, I still doubt he's more than a .300 hitter). I just think it's still a safer bet to go with one of the next guys in line after Bruce and Votto instead of one of the guys next in line after Carlos Gomez.

Only a B+, ok, so we know he isn't a top 20 prospect.

And honestly Sickels opinion doesn't matter much, he's kind of fallen off a ton.

When did Bourn hit .379 in the minors?
guy hitting .280 - .310 with

I see we have now upped it since I said something.
And he didn't exactly struggle in high A

Didn't say he did, but he didn't do anything great there either.
I still doubt he's more than a .300 hitter)

Based on? He doesn't strikeout and hit freaking .379 this year in the Midwest league.
I just think it's still a safer bet to go with one of the next guys in line after Bruce and Votto instead of one of the guys next in line after Carlos Gomez.

Huh? What does that mean?

You may have an argument if there was any chance in hell of Frazier staying at SS, but from what I've heard theres none.

I personally see Revere as a little bit better version of first few years in league Pierre.

You don't win anything if Revere turns out to be a better prospect than Frazier. They're both good. One has power, one has speed. It's really pretty much a toss-up. You think Revere will hit .400 and have 150 SB, I think he'll hit .280 with 40 SB. It's a difference in opinion. Live with it.

Anyways... shouldn't you be **** on studcrackers instead of me? He was the one who took Cole Rohrbough instead of Rickey Henderson.

And not to nitpick but a B+ doesn't necessarily mean top 20 prospect. My interpretation of B+ is that it's around the 20-50 range. And Revere's been impressing in rookie ball and single A so don't get too excited yet.
