you probably saw it on Bulls Forum where it was posted 2 and a half before you....

However, that may not have been the first place it was posted :)

If this is true it sounds like a 3 way deal with GS and another team...possibly the Knicks as they seem interested in Harrington. It also mentions dissapointment with Ammo and Felton. If all 3 of those were involved it would have to include a PF & PG. if not Harrington coming here it would likely be Lee, or (GASP) Randolph. Not sure how we could handle Zach's massive salary for the next 3 years. Likely the PG would come from GS. Would we also get a SF or swing player in return?

I would hate to lose Crash but the reality is he's gone if we hope to get anything decent in trade. If Brown feels the team is stuck in 3rd gear with the current configuration he'll change it.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

if it is a major shake-up, i hope coach brown has his input. i trust him to trade off who he feels he can play without and bring in exactly who he wants. it has to be more than just a one player trade. more like a major overhaul, otherwise it wont help brown do what he wants. if he gets who he wants, he can make this team a winner.

Am I missing something? Crash is a beast. Why in the world would Charlotte want to trade him?'

JRich is the guy I'd think they'd want to move if possible. I don't see the point in trading Gerald Wallace just because he's tradeable. I guess it makes sense if Charlotte is going to tank it and rebuild. That would make no sense to me though after signing Okafor. If you are going to dish that money out to him you've got to be trying to compete or that decision makes no sense to me.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

Me too...someone hold me!

I hope they wait until after tonight. I have tickets and I really can't imagine how bad the Hornets would carve us up without Crash and our new PF.

I think it's doubtful that Crash goes any where any time soon.

I have bad vibes. Hopefully the thing that Bonnell wrote that our Fo doesn't want Harrington really means he is almost in Charlotte. I wouldn't trade Crash for Harrington but there are worse scenarios I'm afraid of.

People would say the opposite, because Richardson was a legitimate go-to scorer last year, whereas Wallace is seen as more of a complementary scorer. So, most people would say that Richardson is more indispensable than Wallace.

But funny thing is, in this "system" that Brown has put in, where he basically tells the team not to shoot jumpers and just keep driving, Wallace is better. And he's been better over the first few games.

I have to question the "genius" of Larry Brown, if he thinks it's ok to trade away a player like Wallace. He is the exact type of player that Brown should want, he's probably the best player in this system he's put in (since he's one of the few players we have that can drive and actually finish), and he has all the tools to be a great two-way player, and just needs coaching to help refine his game.

The logic behind this is simple. Wallace is our most valuable tradable asset and we've got depth at his position to fill in.

Wallace is no doubt a quality player for us, possibly our best. But if we could replace him with someone who gives that type of production or close to it at the PF spot, and then plug in one of our other wings at SF and have a slight drop off, then we're overall better as a team right?

Right now on a scale from 1-10 in production at the SF spot and PF spot you're talking maybe an 8 and a 2. If we could make that a 6 and an 8, or a 6 and a 7, or a 5 and an 8, etc. then we're ahead of the game are we not?

If LB wasn't happy with McMay's conditioning, how do you think he would handle Curry's?

This is not how I wanted to start my morning.....

Can anybody say how reputable "Pro Basketball News" is? Hopefully this is just an internet rumor.

I can't think of anybody on either the Knicks or Warriors I would trade for Crash. If he goes for David Lee/Zach Randolph/Al Harrington, I will seriously not be seen around here for a while. Maybe a deal including Gallinari or Brandon Wright or Anthony Randolph, but I imagine the Knicks/Warriors wouldn't want to part with them.

I've never heard about the site before, by I've heard of the author before (Tony Meija).

It seems odd that someone would know that a player is traded, but not know where. I've never heard of that before...

how many trade rumors have we heard in the past few months involving felton, wallace and morrison?

i dont mind the team making some trades IF they can find a way to add a franchise type talent, or at least get us closer to adding one. but trading 3 of our 7 best players just to address power forward is a bit on the ridiculous side.

i mean, how many legit, difference making, power forwards does anyone think we can get (with a package of those 3)?

does our front office have a long term vision? a 3 year plan on how to become a contender? or is this simply a knee jerk reaction to may being out of shape? last year we made a very short-sided traded to acquire nazr and lose walter. that deal obviously did not have a 3 year plan in mind. i fear that our front office has no plan outside of next week, and that scares me.

No. Just because Wallace is rumored to be on the block, doesn't mean its a fire sale.
