Ok guys, game 6, and currently on a 3 game streak, I still can't watch games through International League Pass so I've made a game thread instead whilst watching One Tree Hill (w00t! go Tree Hill!!)

No reason at all we don't dominate these guys. Drew Gooden at C, are they for real? If the big Cactus stays out of foul trouble this game is over. First team of the road trip that actually has a bench, Hinrich, Nocioni, Gordon. Be interesting to see how Nash goes against Rose after what T.J did in the first half today in Indiana.

Suns by 15 (Rose with 20pts 12ass, Deng with 30pts and a few three's for my fantasy bball)

Hey guys my first post here and i am glad to finally get my membership and be able to debate and chat about the suns with everyone! :D

Completely agree that there is no way we CANT dominate them. i can see STAT posting up big numbers again.

Also anyone have an update on Matt Barnes and the family issue that required him to go back to the bay? hopefully hes back by friday.

Yes, as Mr. Suns stated great graphi work psyclone1982, nicely done.

Anywayz to the game, can't wait to see Derek Rose, I'm a huge fan of his, wish him the best in the NBA, but not against my Suns team hehe. This again is the first set of back 2 back games so lets plat smart and for the love of god stop commiting tournovers. If we commit over 13+ tourovers we will lose to the Bulls, less then that and we shoot 48%+ then we win.

Prediction: Suns 94 Bulls 89

Man we better not start Nash on Rose...I'm hoping Barnes, Hill, Bell and Dragic can check him.

One thing I have noticed this season is that we are tending to play Nash on the PGs more and keeping Raja and Barnes on the wings. An example is during the SA game, when Nash was on Parker for most of the game. In the past, Nash would have taken Bowen and someone like Shawn or Grant Hill would take TP.

I don't know if this is a good thing, or if Porter plans on changing it up with future matchups. But if we continue to play Nash straight up on the opposing PGs we will just have to expect that the Parkers, TJ Fords, Pauls, and whoever elses in this league are going to have career nights.

Drew's Keys to the Game:
1.) More bench production. Boris had a pretty solid game last night he just needs to keep it roling. LB hasn't looked to hot thus far in the regular season. I'll give him time though because he's got alot going on in his life. However, he needs to find his role in the new offense. IMO every time he gets the ball he seems to just plow towards the hoop and pick up an offensive foul.
2.) Better ball handeling. The trend so far has been shakey first halfs and stronger seconds. I would like to see less TO's and more team involvment. The starters need to go out their with energy and hunger. We need to start winning on a more consistant basis, from start to finish.
3.) Be aggressive! Throw the rock down to Shaq and Amare in the Post and great things will happen.

Overall i am really impressed with the suns play early in the season. Honesty they are fairing better than i thought they would be at this point with a record of 4-1. Im so excited for this season but much is still unproven. We are in a great position right now use these next two games to continue working out the kinks before we face or next real test in the rockets. I think if we want to go deep in the post season its going to take more bench development and Shaqs continued energy. Keep up the good work. Go Suns! 2009 Champs 8-) !

Whooo! I'll be at this game, I've been going to the Suns vs. Bulls game for years, one of the good things about living in Chicago. Anybody got any requests?

I still remember a couple years back when Barbosa hit a last second 3 at the buzzer to win the game after being down by over 20 points at one point. I was the only guy screaming my lungs out, but it was totally worth it, absolutely legendary.

Anyway, should be an easy win, the only way Chicago will make it interesting is if Rose or Tyrus goes off. Can't wait for tomorrow, GO SUNS!

this will be tough - they dont have size to compete with shaq, but they have a platoon of bigs they can throw at him and amare and their backcourt could give nash fits too

we may just drop this one

I didn't like being pushed by the Pacers because of a lack of production from basically everyone but Amare. If we're in such a close game and Amare is already putting up 40pts I really think Nash gotta step in and help him out with his shooting. They took what felt like 2 shots the whole game.

Tastic, somehow I am unable to PM anyone on this board. About the website, it's not sportbit but maybe the links could have come from there?
How does one send PM's by the way? I thought they were enabled but apparently only mods can do that?
