You don't win anything if Revere turns out to be a better prospect than Frazier.
Uh, yeah, only the better player.
They're both good.
Except one if better.
One has power, one has speed. It's really pretty much a toss-up.
Yeah, let's just keep ignoring the .379 AVG. And Frazier's power isn't anything special, 20 HR power, pretty much.
You think Revere will hit .400 and have 150 SB, I think he'll hit .280 with 40 SB. It's a difference in opinion.
Ah yes, except that I never said anything like that. I think Revere will hit .315-.330 with 40 SB and you think Revere will hit .280 based on absolutely nothing.
Anyways... shouldn't you be **** on studcrackers instead of me? He was the one who took Cole Rohrbough instead of Rickey Henderson.
Except that that was the only time you said nice picks, implying you would have likely made the same picks. If your going to gloat about a pick, back it up at least. And Rohrbough is good, just underrated.
And not to nitpick but a B+ doesn't necessarily mean top 20 prospect. My interpretation of B+ is that it's around the 20-50 range.
Uh, thats what I said. And your acting like something outside top 20 is bad. Do you think Frazier is 20-50? Hint, he probably isn't even top 100. I probably wouldn't even have Revere in my top 40, but he's better than Frazier.
And Revere's been impressing in rookie ball and single A so don't get too excited yet.
Frazier has done what? Impressing in rookie ball and single at 2 years older. And I don't even like Revere a lot.
Both McGee and Weathers are likely out for 2009.

Dude, I don't really care that much. It's a difference in opinion. You're entitled to your opinion and I have mine. I happen to think differently about prospects than you. We both have good track records so I mean there's not really much to talk about. I picked Samardzija at the expense of Carlos Gomez and drafted guys like Jed Lowrie who people didn't believe in either and both have worked out fine. I've had some of the best players of the past couple years go through my system so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to prospects. I know what the stats are and I go by feel. Personally, I think Frazier will translate into a .280+ hitter in the majors and where he'll be playing he could jack 30/year. Certainly I also think Kaz got a good player in Revere but I'll take 30 HR and a couple more RBIs rather than 40 SB and a couple more runs and maybe 10 points in average. Just my opinion on what's more valuable. It's just a difference of opinion. Let's leave it at that. You like Revere more than I like him and might also value stats differently. No biggie.

You do realize for the most part, I'm just messing with you. (But, I'll keep it going for a little longer.)
The difference is one is backed up by facts and one by "feel."
Hey don't go comparing me against BA.
Wait, why are you bragging about 2 of your bad moves?
What are you a MVP voter or something?
And yeah Revere may only have a .010 advantage in BA, and guess what I'm Albert Pujols.
I wonder what you would think if Frazier would have been drafted ahead of Revere in a few months when the prospect lists come out.

You are... I can't think of whether it's insufferable or intolerable. I'm just not going to write anything you can dissect and make into something.

Revere is whack, unless you think the world of Chone Figgins. He's fast and can hit for average, thanks to his speed. That's about it.

Like thats going to work.

Isn't Figgins considered a really good fantasy player? Not to mention Figgins never hit near as well as Revere. And I'm doubting all .379 of that AVG came because of speed, there have been tons of fast players that never hit close to that well.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.
Fun fact of the day:
Since 1992 one player has hit over .363 in the Midwest League while being 20 or younger for the whole season. His name Ben Revere.

And honestly Sickels opinion doesn't matter much, he's kind of fallen off a ton.
According to who?

Hey guys, McGee and Aherns are both in my system. I traded Fukudome to SportsWorld mid-season for them. Both of those guys are in my system. Just wanted to clear that up before the draft goes on any farther. Sorry I didn't catch it earlier, RealGM is slow as hell on my computer and I have no real reason to follow the drafts until they are over.
Revere is probably going to be a really good real life player but has limited fantasy value. He's a poor man's Jacoby Ellsbury. He has some value but unless he hits .350 in the bigs I don't see it being impact level, especially with the depth of OFers available. mahalo

Me. He has done weird things like not list someone like Jake Odorizzi as a top HS pitcher right before the draft. And everytime I read his stuff, it just seems like I'm reading things I already know and he doesn't bring much to the table. To be fair, he is only one guy, but if I wanted an opinion on a player I would weigh BA's opinion about 10 times as much.

His hit tool is better than Ellsbury's. Ellsbury has more HR power, which is good for fantasy though. I'm actually curious what Juan Pierre's fantasy ranks were his first few years in the league, although I think Revere is better, they are pretty similar. And how you going to talk about this and not give your opinion on Frazier, shame.

I don't exactly know, it's a sticky situation that I didn't foresee haha. They're Chach's prospects so they belong to him, but the question is how to compensate you and Mauve for the mistake. Umm... like you picked Ahrens with your last pick so you probably wouldn't mind repicking or taking a supplementary prospect pick instead right? But Corey is a little bit different of a situation since he could have taken another guy, albeit not very good. What do you two think about it?

I wouldn't mind just taking another guy or a supplementary pick, I would probably go with the supplementary pick but I think the real question is what Mauve thinks about the situation.
