POLL: Are the teams chemistry issues fixable

Interested in peoples gut feeling about how deep the issues run.

Right now, I don't think that we just need mere improvement. Because the way this team is running right now, it isn't looking like it's ought to translate into wins.

We need change. We need a new mentality for this team.

We can't say we can live without these three point shooters. Because we clearly needs scoring from the outside with our backcourt players. The spacing in our halfcourt offense is totally atrocious, especially after EB is double teamed. That's why there are a lot of TOs and low shooting percentages. And our offense becomes very much predictable, because we force way too much inside.

We need more scorers in our starting unit to have more options on half court offense. Right now, the only legit scorers in our starting unit are Young and EB. Two guys who are just 20ppg players. It's not a Shaq and Kobe duo were you can just surround them with role players.

Why not insert Louis Williams at the starting unit and play SG? And let AI2 play PG, this will solve the problem of AI2 not fitting in our halfcourt offense and this might also gives us another scorer in the court. Louis Williams might be the guy we need to jump start the two man game between him and Brand.

We can't rely too much on transition offense. Did Mo just waste the whole off season preaching about transition offense? Because it looks like this team isn't prepared with their halfcourt offense. We're basically wasting 14 seconds with a awful and ineffective halfcourt set then run an isolation play with only 10 seconds on the clock.

I have to agree that I love the idea with starting Iggy and Lou in the backcourt but Miller would probably create huge chemistry problems with the idea of coming off the bench.

Maybe we really will get to see if Miller is a great teammate if he is willing to come off the bench for the betterment of the team.

I really don't see Mo doing this regardless.

Miller and Sam need to go, neither fits or would go to the bench willingly. Mo needs to figure out how to use Brand properly which should not be a problem since he seems pretty versatile offensively. I found it pathetic that a douche like Doug Collins could so easily pin-point the Sixers problems in last night's game and had a much better knowledge of how to use Brand, when our own coaching staff seems lost. Dear god, I find myself wishing LB was the coach at times.

It's quite simple give Brand the 18 shots that Young took the Sixers will win. If Brand takes 8 shots a game the Sixers are going to lose the majority of the games.

It's hard for him to take shots when he gets doubled every time he touches the ball, and our team is unable to give the defense a reason not to double. Hence the need to get more shooters on this team.

How is Sam not fitting this team?

He is having a great year this season. Aside from Young, he seems to be the guy who is benefiting from the built and the system of our team this year. Yes, his offense is shaky at best. But defensively, our tandem of him and EB is doing great especially in grabbing rebounds.

There are three guys who you should point your fingers to:
a.) Mo Cheeks
b.) Andre Iguodala
c.) Andre Miller

Yes Brand needs to be taking about 18 shots per game, but Young should be taking atleast 14...

He's the 2nd best offensive option on the team at the moment, and has been the only positive throughout the season.

What sense does it make, to limit his offensive production, when he's currently the most efficient player on the team?

If anyone needs to be taking less shots it Andre Miller. Iguodala needs more shots, Willie Green needs less playing time, Rush needs more PT as does Louis Williams.

Speights should be the first big off the bench, or atleast get 15+ mpg...
