Pick up Marquis Daniels?

Post#1 » by Parasight » Fri Nov 7, 2008 4:59 am

I'm thinking of dropping CV, Barnes or Tyrus for Marquis Daniels. But I can never bring myself to, especially for a short-term pick up (until Dunleavy comes back, whenever that is).

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I am this close to doing it too! Especially for Ty!

I would not drop Barnes, especially if he's going to be the starting SF for Phoenix all year. Drop CV or Tyrus, if I had to choose between the two I'd drop Tyrus.

He's out indefinitely so probably going to be awhile and from the sounds of it... he might be limited at first and it can flare up at anytime. I just dropped Francisco Garcia for Daniels. I know he's coming back soon so I will either pick him back up for Daniels or wait on Dunleavy.

I think Delonte West is the best bet out of the 3 of those guys because his role is more secure. Mason is hot right now because Ginobli is out and the same with Marquis and Dunleavy. Once those guys return, Mason and Daniels lose time immediately. West on the other hand, looks to be the starting SG in Cleveland and with the way he's playing I don't see him losing time. I would drop Tyrus over Collison if I were you because he will be wildly inconsistent (as usual) all season.

I would take all three of those guys over Tyrus. I guess the upside on Mason is that you know exactly when Ginobli is coming back where Dunleavy could come back at anytime. I would pick up West, Mason and Daniels in that order.

I would drop tyrus for daniels for sure. The dunleavy knee thing is sounding more serious by the day, and daniels should be solid. this coming from a bulls fan, tyrus thomas is simply too inconsistent to be trusted on a fantasy team right now.

Well Thomas played well last night and plays again today. Daniels would rebounding more than Collison!:)

If Tyrus lays a egg today i may pick up West
