Washington @ Orlando 7PM 11/8

Hey! Nobody put up a game thread, so I gotta throw this ish up. :(

Remember that freak game against Orlando where Etan played out of his mind and dominated Dwight Howard? One can hope lightening strikes twice.

Another loss, but one that can again be offset by heaping piles of minutes for the bench.

I was thinking the same thing re Etan. He actually has done decently
against Superman. I think this is because as good as DH is, he's very
limited in terms of range. Keep him from dunking, and the battle
is half won. Sometimes easier said than done I'll admit. Foul him
constantly and you have a chance since he's a horrible FT shooter.
Hack a Dwight.

Still we figure to allow a ton of open 3s again tonight. Not optimistic
except to say that eventually we will probably win a game. We'll
play a little better and someone else will have an off game. Law
of averages. Don't know if that happens tonight though. Could
easily be our first blowout loss.

"Relax a little bit, go down to Florida and see if our veterans who sat a little longer today can bring energy and we can win a game."

From Mr. Numbnutz himself Eddie Jordan. If he even dares to play the vets over the bench, I'm not sure what I'll do.

If we gave up 13+ 3pters to the freaking Knicks, imagine how many open 3's the Magic (a deadly shooting team) are going to nail.

Wizards will lose this one big time.

We can only hope the young guns get big time minutes.

Predictions:
1. Wiz loss. 108-88.
2. Young-ens get some playing time and show some flashes.
3. Blatche decides to play closer to the basket.
4. Def is nowhere to be seen.

This game is going to be over sooner than later, I'll hope for the best.

I'm looking forward to seeing Javail playing again, lets hope EJ plays him. D.Howard would be a good learning experience.

Yep, the forecast is heavy downpours in Orlando tonight...that is, Turkeyglue and Lewis will be raining threes on us. I wouldn't even be surprised if Redick gets playing time and gets his career high. But, I'm still looking forward to seeing how McGee matches up with Howard. The Knicks had no center last night. If McGee plays as well against Howard as he did against the Knicks, my wife better watch out tonight because I'll be very excited.

We match up pretty poorly against the Magic and their combo of Dwight + 3 point shooters.

This could be a long night.

Dixon will start in place of Daniels, who is out with a sore right knee

Is that what they call it?

Maybe he does indeed have a sore right knee which is affecting his play. Either that, or they're just going with a not-embarrassing way to demote the veteran.

The defense still looks awful. Unnecessary double-teams yielding wide open 3's.

I love Caron Butler and the way he plays, but is it just me or does he seem to be settling a little too often for three's?

Where was Etan on that lob? It's like he just watched Howard go for it.

The broadcast team for Orlando is very good. The color guy has done his homework on the Wizards. He's already mentioned the porous D, the problems defending the 3, Blatche's inconsistency, Stevenson's slow start, and the good play from Young and McGee.

I think Jamison is playing well. He's been taking it inside and he's crashing the offensive glass. He scored once on a putback and drew a foul on another offensive rebound (that won't show up in the box score).
