Oh and if we are thinking of draft prospects do we really need another point guard?

What the hell is wrong with you guys!! Were only like 5 or 6 games in and some spurs fans want to tank. Thats sad. Anyhow, if you believe that your a top tier team when healthy, then it doesnt matter what seed you get in the playoffs as long as you get in.

it's not up to us anyways..they'll do whatever they want..I'll be happy with either result, but I still feel like a healthy Spurs team would be up there..we'll see how they hold up without Parker and Ginobili..

It's been a while since I posted. I was thinking of writing up a real post with in depth analysis and what I thought of our young guys, but I thought I'd keep it real instead. That's just how I roll.

I can't wait until Manu and Parker come back just in time to make a late playoff push for that 8 seed and then beat the Lakers in the first round. Gonna be awesome. Spurs don't lose in odd years.

Spurs have never beaten the Lakers when the Lakers have had the home court ! But the Spurs will get hot, you can't hold vets down long. The way I see except for the Lakers and Jazz, the Spurs are giving the rest of the field a head start........like when you played tag in elementary school.

im not in favor of tanking. tanking is a ridiculous idea this early. if we lose the next 15 games then we should discuss the possibility of tanking. until then just sit tight.
Manu Ginobili:

* Italian Cup: 2001, 2002
* Euroleague: 2001
* Americas Championship: 2001

Way too early to be thinking about this...

I am going to wait until the new year before I start visiting nbadraft.net and draftexpress...

Really strange to speak "Spurs" and "tank" in the same sentence. Right now, too early in the season to just crash the plane for keeps.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
