Hate to give up six points right before the half, but all in all a great first half. Balanced scoring, great ball movement and while Paul hasn't scored much, he's had the ball in his hands most of the half.

Things are looking up.

Oh my goodness! Did anyone see Wade all on the top of Chandler's head fouling him like crazy and the refs didn't call a d*mn thing?

I'm not sure how the refs didn't call that. Wade practically jumped on his back. Nice hustle by Paul though to get the ball back and Chandler sort of got Wade back the next Wade drove through the lane.

When are they going to realize that they need to stay on Quinn?

Nice to see the Chandler pick and oop back in the offensive playbook.

Certainly a thorn in the side in the third quarter. He's the main reason the Heat are still in the game.

Mike James has never been a pure point and I don't see that changing at this point. So I'd like to see him look for his shot and drive to the bucket more, like tonight. I think we could really use that offense when he's with the second team.

^^ That seems to be the only thing they put Quinn in the game to do so the Hornets better start realizing it. Quinn and watch for Cook when he enters the game.

Yeah, Mike James definitely doesn't mind going to the rim.

Posey not hitting anything tonight. He's only taken 3 shots though.

5 TO's for CP. That's uncharacteristic of him. Although Tyson knew his a** should've caught that ball just now. That was a lazy attempt at trying to get the ball.

Streak snapped! Hornets win 100-89. They needed this one because the next few will be serious challenges.

Big win to get the confidence back. My only concern is the fact they let the Heat stick around the whole second half. But a MAJOR improvement over the last two games.

I'm cracking up at Heat fans on various forums complaining about officiating. Isn't it Wade that has the nickname around the league "D-Whistle"? I guess they're not used to another player getting to the line as much as Wade. At least the refs were a little even with it. If you're going to call it this way, call it the same way on the other end. This game was pretty much even across the board except the Hornets slightly outrebounded the Heat 45-37. Like I said though, the Hornets needed this one because the next few I expect to be difficult.

Paul became the first player in league annals to begin a regular season with six consecutive 20-point, 10-assist games. In helping end New Orleans’ two-game losing streak, the fourth-year pro broke Oscar Robertson’s record of five straight.

Plus, Paul's streak of consecutive games with a steal is up to 89. I can't remember what the record is, but I think he's getting close.

I'm not sure if his steals is up to 89 or 90 because in this recap it says 90 and he has 15 to go to pass Alvin Robertson.

Ahh...ok. I was thinking they said 89 last night, but that must of been heading into the game. I couldn't find what the record was, so thanks. He's getting mighty close.
