Hinrich's out for 12 weeks, so B. Gordon will see a lot of time at PG. That's bad for the Bulls - BG's an awful PG, IMO - but his #'s will belie his inability to run a team.
His stock was already on the rise. Paired with another offensive threat (Rose), Gordon's getting open looks he never saw before.
I wants him.
And offered this trade:
Al Jefferson
Tayshaun Prince
for
Boozer
Gordon
I'm 65% sure that trade will be rejected, but I think I'm prepared to counter with an offer of Al Jefferson and Mike Miller.
Is that too much?

Re: Gordon!!!
are you kidding? what about fg % and ft%, gordon gives you way more than what people think they give them.that's 4/9 categories, and his TO rate isn't bad. St/blocks obviously ur not gonna get that from gordon. but i'd def take him over a lot of guards right now.

Re: Gordon!!!
See, I love Jeffersons consistency, which is why I won't be heart-broken if this trade doesn't go through. But I really do believe that Gordon's going to have a very good year, stat-wise. Like I said, with Hinrich out, he's going to have to be more of a playmaker. I'm soft on assists, so the net-win on assists for this trade would be a nice shot in the arm.
Also, I really, really want to capitalize on this nice run that Tayshaun is having. It's not often that he's considered a fantasy asset so I gotta strike while the iron's hot.

Re: Gordon!!!
The only big man id ever consider trading Jefferson for is Amare. So any deal where u ship off jefferson and get anything other then Amare back i would have to say is favored to the other side

Re: Gordon!!!
So, in your eyes, LConte17, Jefferson is basically untradeable? I don't manage my team that way. If I can get net gains on a deal, I'm willing to move anyone.

Im speaking solely on how highly rated of a BIG man you are trading. I can only assume Jefferson was a 2nd Rd pick? Whats the rest of ur roster look like?
Trading Jefferson for Boozer who has been injured every season at some point the last few seasons.
Prince is gonna give u a better line then Gordon would. Ben is a streaky player, as well as many of the bulls players. On top of htat you would counter with Mike Miller too?
Looking at the combined stats of those u are trading, and getting back [based on the fantasy trade calculator]. You are losing everything except 3pts, Assist, FG%... Seems Like you are losing a lot so YES you are giving up way to much.

Re: Gordon!!!
Well, he rejected the trade, and you've convinced me not to counter-offer with Mike Miller. Thanks man.
