Spurs aren't making the playoffs. Their run is over.

Man until I see it happen, I won't believe that SA will miss the playoffs. Watch Tim Duncan step up BIG time.

Besides once Manu comes back they're set. Weren't they 18-4 w/o Parker but w/Manu/Duncan last season?

They will make the playoffs but their 1-5 seed motion is out the window. it will be either 6th, 7th, or 8th seed

I think injuries are more likely when your players play more minutes than they are accustomed combined with the fact that the Spurs offense was all Duncan/Parker. You could see it coming. Is Pop really going to play Duncan 40+ minutes just to try and be competitive? I see a lotta tank in the Spurs this season.....
I'm so tired of the typical......

If rubio is the #1 pick, then next years draft must be weak..

One less team to deal with in the Southwest division race.

With the Spurs being in deep trouble, this can only be a good sign for all Western teams. Especially Phoenix who might not have to go through them in the playoffs. Only team to beat the Suns in the playoffs in the last 7 years were the Spurs and Dallas. I'm not to worried about Dallas anymore so good things to come for Phoenix, hopefully!

I project Spurs will be a 7th seed and lose to NO in the first round. By the time Manu and Parker are healthy and April rolls around, Duncan will be exhausted.

meh, if we try to make the playoffs, I don't mind a low seed..if we're good enough to make enough of a run to make the playoffs, then we can beat anybody..you guys don't realize how many wins it's going to take to make the playoffs with the hole we're going to be in without Ginobili and Parker..I don't see it, as much as I hope it happens..

Duncan needs to make his teammates better to make the playoffs. Let's see how good he really is.

This Spurs season reminds me of the Lakers season in 06-07 when first Kwame went down for 20+ games early in the season after Ben Wallace landed on Kwame's leg, then Odom went down with an MCL knee sprain in December game against Houston for 20+ games and Luke Walton, who was the team's 3rd best player that year, also went down for basically 20+games. The worst part was that 2 of the 3 were ALWAYS injured all year until the playoffs. The Lakers were basically playing the pu pu platter and a sulking Smush Parker was starting for the Lakers.

That team somehow made the playoffs led by Kobe's ridiculous play post all star break when he averaged 39ppg on 49% shooting for about 25-30 games along with that ridiculous 50+ streak.

I think TD should be able to do the same. What he needs to do is simple. DEMAND the ball every time down the floor and get his teammates open shots by getting double teamed. Other superstars would not be forgiven for what the Spurs record is about to become. Tim Duncan, unfortunately and God Love him, should be NO different in this instance either. He needs to man up, or accept the criticism and realize that he is more a product of the system and fellow teammates. This is your time to make it happen Tim. The entire Spurs franchise is relying on you to get it done. Make it happen.
