This break has been ridiculous.

This is one of the reasons why the NHL is unsuccessful. People lose interest in the teams after long 6 day breaks.

I doubt anyone has lost interest or forgotten about the Hawks just cause they've been off all week.

I know that I've been eagerly awaiting Sunday's game and the long layoff has only made me more fired up to watch this one. Plus, its a good team that is on the level that the Hawks should be aiming for this year.

Before this game, I just felt like Toews was unlucky. Tonight, I'm pretty sure God hates him.

3-1 after 2 periods. Could be a bigger lead but oh well.

The Hawks just drank Calgary's milkshake

The Blackhawks are hot as hell right now. And I can confirm that Toews is indeed alive.

Wow, this team gets better and better every game. The penalty killing and the goaltending have been amazing this year, way better than anyone could've expected. Those two things have easily been the biggest surpises of this season.

Do you realize that after losing the first two games of the year these guys are 7-1-3? That's pretty damn impressive.

I don't see any reason why we can't get the #4 seed this year.

I think this upcoming road trip will really give us a good idea about just how good this team is.

The defense has been stellar as well, especially in the slot. The Flames didn't have very many scoring chances aside from their power plays last night, and the Hawks completely shut them down on the kill.

Return to Chicago Blackhawks
