He had his faults, but I will always miss the man for facilitating four of the best years I've had as a basketball fan.

Yeah I thought it was a great article, and I sincerly hope us Suns fans do not boo him when he returns. The man deserves a standing ovation for what he did for this organization.

Wow, pretty honest assessment from Mike D. If he and Marion both don't get standing o's in their respective returns to Phoenix, that will be sad.

I would be upset if he doesn't receive a majority positive ovation when the Knicks come to USAC. It would be shameful for Suns fans to respond otherwise.

I do feel bad for him, but at the same time, he made the decision to leave an unfinished job...grant it probably was a rash decision because he was emotional for another playoff loss and had been feuding with Kerr and Sarver and now he probably sees that the grass isn't greener. But I sure do respect the hell out of what he's done for the Suns and the NBA.

They better cheer him, in appreciation for the excitement he helped bring back to PHX and the NBA

Did I sense a hint of regret in that article? Though it was somewhat of a rash decision to leave the Suns I still believe that it was a good decision. The day we traded away Marion for Shaq the run n gun was done.

i will be going to that NYK game in phoenix and will be cheering D'Antoni but i think it is hilarious how the spurs are just coach D's kryptonite man, no parker no ginobli and still cant finish them off...

So everybody thinks D'Antoni left the Suns and Kerr didn't have anything to do with it??
